Belladonna Boudreaux was not a woman to take something lying down (unless it was meant to be that way)...which Theresa had obviously guessed. “Ya have no control over my life and what I do, Bella. Believe it or not, I do have some common sense about what happens in my personal life. Besides, yuir not my mother or anywhere near tha kind of woman she was. Ya don't deserve ta have this conversation with me,”
She just took another swig and let the burn of the alcohol take the edge off her fury. By the time she felt better...the bottle was more than half empty. Bella was only slightly tipsy...a sure fire sign that she had done this before and often.
If a five-foot-six, one hundred ten pound woman could take on that much bourbon and win... she was a force to be reckoned with.
Terry stomped away, no doubt to tell Tom all about what Bella had done...but in her mind, nothing she had done was wrong. Talking to a young motherless girl about sex didn't sound like such a heinous crime; it sounded like something that would get most women a medal of honor...
But not Bella, she knew she wasn't most women and that no one would ever commend her for scaring children.
Tipping back one last drink, she toasted toward the door that Terry had left through. "Don' come cryin' to me when some half-breed brat knocks ya up. I'll jus' laugh."
Replacing the cap, she stuck the bottle back and went to find Tom.
The door was closed. For once, she'd wait it out. Leaning against the wall she waited for Tom to come screaming for her demise; it wouldn't be long, he would always choose the young girl over a "partner in crime" or whatever Belladonna was to him.
Of their actual relationship, she wasn't sure. They were tentative friends...never confiding everything but certainly not hiding the imporant things. He knew about her husband...she knew he wanted to sleep with her.
It was a tough call...just another day in the life of Belladonna Boudreaux.

They work for Magneto and do the things that need to be done and the majority of people aren’t even sure if they’re real or just a legend to spook the humans in line. Unfortunately, some people knew even more than that. One of the major problems of being a secret organization is the damn conspiracy nuts putting clues together over the internet. Of course, they had no solid evidence. But they did get awfully close sometimes. Why couldn’t they just illegally download music and look at porn like normal people?
“Time fuir a crash coarse then. First, cut out tha military act. Ya just graduated from soldier to mercenary. Next, Ya’ll need a place ta stay, a house or an apartment. We only use tha hideaway for business meetings...” Tom’s attention was pulled away when Theresa walked in and closed the door behind her. Obviously, Bella didn’t just sit quietly by the pool. She sat on one of the leather chairs in front of the desk, looking upset.
Tom looked at her for a second then turned back to his monitor. “Why don’t ya come ta my house in Hammer Bay? I can give ya tha entire rundown and ya can meet another member as well.” This was a fairly simple scheme. Let the rookie run interference on Bella while Tom spent some time with Theresa. He would probably have to call Mystique by the end of the day from the look on Theresa‘s face. Tom wanted to spend some time with her before then.

"Don' come cryin' to me when some half-breed brat knocks ya up. I'll jus' laugh,” rang through Terry's mind as she sat in Tom's office and waited for him to finish up his conversation.
Like she'd run to Bella for anything. She never had before why would she do it on something important like that if it ever happened. Stupid cow. She really thought Theresa was an idiot. It wasn't like the Academy didn't start giving it's female cadets birth control injections at fourteen. For the last four years, Terry had received a shot every three months just for that purpose. Apparently, the Academy administrators knew the temptation of having both males and females sharing hallways in the dorms. If it weren't for her damned reputation of only being there because of Tom, she might actually have a steady relationship. Instead, she either frightened every guy off because of who her dad was or they only wanted to see and sleep with her to work their way up the “ladder” within the Academy. Like she had that kind of power. She had learned quickly to harden her heart against members of the opposite sex when it came to liking someone for more then a bit of fooling around now and then.
No, Bella was wrong. Terry's life was going to consist of the Red Guard, not be decided by a guy. Sure, they had their purpose but that was about it. The members of the Hellions were good at what they did, hell they were the best in the Academy and to be a Hellion was a great honor and one had to work hard at it. To be in her position was even better. But it was so lonely at the top sometimes.
Shaking herself out of the depression she could feel creeping on, there was no way she was going to let Tom see any of this or he'd go into full father mode, she heard the very end of his conversation. “Why don’t ya come ta my house in Hammer Bay? I can give ya tha entire rundown and ya can meet another member as well,” he was telling someone on the other end of the monitor.
Lovely. Pretty soon her little vacation was going to turn into a Mauraders party. Granted, she had yet to meet a more unsavory member of Tom's group then Bella but there was always the off chance that someone could be just as bad or worse. That was enough to make her stomach turn. No, she could deal with this type of abuse back at the Academy with Jono alone. Besides, she could see when she got under his skin by his psionic flare flickering. And it was only because they'd been together for so long that she could even see little instances like that.
Finally, Tom was off the phone. She continued to sit there and looked up at him. He was looking really good, maybe a bit soft in the middle but honestly, Magneto had such tight reigns on his empire, he didn't need the Mauraders as much anymore as he used to so Tom was home more times then not. She wondered if she had thanked him lately for taking her in as a wee babe and caring for her all these years. It'd probably been a few weeks since. “Yuir really busy and I feel like I'm intruding, Tom. I think I'll just head back ta tha Academy and when ya get some time off, come on up and we'll go out ta dinner or something. I dinna mean ta get ya at such a bad time and I should have called instead of just having tha car meet me,” she told the man who raised her.

“That’s fine by me sir if ya just tell me how the heck I’m supposed to find my ways there. And if I may, mercenary, solider, thug it’s aoll the same to me. I just do what I do and do what I’m told so I don’t get in no trouble. As long as I’m doin what I can for the House of M it don’t matter one bit to me. Ohh and if I may one more question sir.” He crooked his head to side. “Who the bloody heck are you any way?”

Belladonna wasn't all that happy right now...and the next person that talked to her was...
Coming now. She could hear Tom through the door...not that it wasn't nice and thick, but Belladonna was the daughter of Marius Bodreaux and the wife of Remy LeBeau, of COURSE she could eavesdrop.
Ohh and if I may one more question sir.” Ooh a new victim...ooh...no, she meant recruit.
Alcohol burned through her veins, making her feel at least 7 feet tall. She heard his voice even from down the hall. She adjusted her clothing, making sure her baby blue tank top was just above that shade of decency that women never recovered from...
Walking to meet him, she folded her arms. “Who the bloody heck are you any way?” She heard the new man ask..."Dat's what I want ta know." She said quietly and went to meet him at the door.

I just do what I do and do what I’m told so I don’t get in no trouble. As long as I’m doin what I can for the House of M it don’t matter one bit to me." If Nothing else, Toad seemed enthusiastic, or maybe he was just a kiss ass. That didn't matter as long as he could do the job, which he certainly should be able to, being as he was from the Red Gaurd. Tom pulled up the computers Satellite capabilities from his own pc and marked the route from the hideaway to his home. He then printed a copy on the printer in the hideaway. "There's a map ta my house. The route is already marked."
"Ohh and if I may one more question sir. Who the bloody heck are you any way?” Tom raised an eyebrow. When did the little twurp stop kissing ass and turn disprectful? Tom was suddenly glad to be throwing the rookie to Bella. He'd never be the same after that, if he survived. "Black Tom Cassidy," was all he said, as if expecting Toad to have heard of him. By all accounts, he probably should have. Tom was a member of Magneto's Brotherhood, before they became an army. Most of them were honored inm some way, which is how Tom became in charge of the Marauders anyway. He was also absolved of all his crimes across the globe. Few people remembered that most of the Brotherhood weren't misunderstood freedom fighters but criminals putting their talents to use. That's because history is written by the the winners.
Tom cut off the link to the hideaway as Theresa began speaking. She didn't look all that happy, and the fact that he just invited another Marauder to the house probably didn't help her mood. “Yuir really busy and I feel like I'm intruding, Tom. I think I'll just head back ta tha Academy and when ya get some time off, come on up and we'll go out ta dinner or something. I dinna mean ta get ya at such a bad time and I should have called instead of just having tha car meet me,” she said, her disappointment clear. But wasn't about to accept that as her desicion, especially since the Red Gaurd would probably come calling soon. "Just stay for tha night. After dinner, we'll come back ta my office and I'll call Mystique." He smiled at her and gave a wink. "But only if ya stay."

"Just stay for tha night. After dinner, we'll come back ta my office and I'll call Mystique. But only if ya stay,” Tom compromised with her. With his smile and wink, Theresa couldn't help but grin back up at him. He'd always known how to cheer her up and seven years apart while she attended the Academy hadn't made a difference in that regard.
Her earliest memories consisted of Tom holding her after she fell off her bike or having lost her favorite doll. He would always gently wipe her tears away and promise to make things better. What he hadn't realized that just having him there to care about her had made it all better. She still wasn't sure why Tom had taken her in after her mother died and her father abandoned her other then his obvious love for Maeve. By rights, she should have been put in an orphanage and gone about his life. He didn't have to raise Maeve's child as his own but he did. And for that, Theresa would forever be grateful.
Standing up off the chair, she crossed the few steps separating them and wrapped her arms around the man for a hug. She was probably the only person on this planet that could do so fearlessly and Theresa took advantage of that. In every essence, this was her father. In fact, she called him that quite a bit when she talked about Tom at school. There were very few people in this world that had any idea she was his cousin, not his daughter and Terry had no desire to correct any of them. Pulling back slightly so she could look into his deep blue eyes, Theresa said, “Have I thanked ya lately for taking in a little Irish waif and giving her a home and a family?”
Then she took a deep breath and let it out slowly, adding, “I'll stay but if she starts in on me again about tha 'birds and tha bees', I'm gonna scream until her ear drums explode. As for Ms. Darkholme, I appreciate it but give me a bit of time first ta see what I can do myself. If I get ta where Jono is driving me stark raving mad, I'll call ya.” Theresa couldn't help but wonder if Bella and the new guy were going to be joining them for dinner and if they were, if Maddy was going to break out the plastic wear instead of the good china.

After a long journey of hopping down the streets of Genosha Mortimer Toynbee followed the given directions to the Cassidy Estate. Looking at the place made Toad’s mouth drop. ‘No wonder the bloody mc doesn’t want to be at the hideout. Wonder if I’ll be gettin to see this kind of cash.’ Toad thought as he made his way up the street to the large building.
As he neared the gates Toad rubbed his chin thinking about how to proceed. The proper thing to do was ring the bell and report in as he should. How ever from the talk earlier the Black Tom was not impressed by by the book ass kissing. If he wanted to make a good impression Toad needed to show he was not just a soldier but a damn good one. He needed, to show off.
Toad hopped around the gate of the building making his way over to the left side of the estate. With a powerful mutant jump Toad leaped clear over the gate wall and clear onto the estate grounds. Wasting no time he looked up to the house ledge. The rain gutters were nice and extravagantly large as he had hopped. Toad jumped up in the air shooting his tongue straight out. The long organ wrapped up around the rain gutter tightly acting as a tether to hold him up just as he started to descend. Hanging just above a second floor window Toad used his hand on the top of the window seal to keep his balance while his feet threw open the window. His way clear Toad let his tongue lose sipping it back to his mouth as his body swung inside of the house. He entered inside a currently empty hallway. Quickly he hopped into the relative security of a dark corner to hide while he thought up his next step. ‘All right now do I go and cause a big ruckus getting everyone’s attention and making a big scene of an entrance or do I play it cool and hide all stealth like until I find a good opportunity to let me self be known.’ Toad rubbed his hand under his chin in thought. ‘I wonder if there’s any guards around here I could wholup on.’

Belladonna had hightailed it down to the foyer to check out this new Maurauder. Most of the other members, besides Tom of course, pissed her off to the point of aversion. Her way that was...most of the men and women avoided her like she was the plague.
It didn't bother her...at least she didn't let it show, if it did.
Eavesdropping wasn't really an effective tool. She knew someone was coming and when, but not who she was looking for.
Scanning the area, she saw that maid that liked her about as much as Therea. "Hey, dere's as new un' coming in. Have you seen him?"
The woman shook her head curtly and walked away without another word. "Dat's real nice..." she called after her. She turned toward the door, mumbling obscenities in French.
Now it was time to find the new kid...

When Theresa grinned up at Tom, he knew she wasn’t going to leave. Stubborn as she could be, he had a way with her. He also knew most of her tells. Granted, this wasn’t a hard one to figure out. When she hopped out of her chair and wrapped her arms around Tom, he happily accepted. Few people felt that kind of freedom around him. Even Bella was apprehensive to approach him in such a way, but that could have had something to do with his hands, and where they were placed. Cain would have been free to do so, but always seemed too homophobic for affection. And Of course, Maeve, though she didn’t often hug him when she was alive. She probably knew what it did to him. It was no secret that both he and his cousin were in love with her. She was too sweet a person to play with his feelings like that.
“Have I thanked ya lately for taking in a little Irish waif and giving her a home and a family,” Theresa asked as she pulled away from him, making Tom smile warmly. She started thanking him somewhere around her teen years. That was probably when she started to realize what taking care of a child meant. Not that she needed to thank him. His life wasn’t a complete secret to her, but she didn’t know the true extent of his crimes. And he still considered raising her the one good thing he had done in the last twenty years or so. Even that deed was tarnished by his lies, though. “I told ya before. Ya never have ta thank me for that.”
“I'll stay but if she starts in on me again about tha 'birds and tha bees', I'm gonna scream until her ear drums explode. Bella did what? Tom understood Theresa probably wasn’t as innocent as he would have liked, but Bella teaching his...come to think of it, that might not have been a bad idea. Bella hadn’t opened her legs in nearly ten years. But she wasn’t speaking to Theresa anymore tonight, at least not at length. “Ya have a deal. And I’m sure yah’ll be called up soon, with or without my help. Come on, let‘s tell Madison we have guests fuir dinner.”
On the way out of his office, his computer began beeping again but in a different tone. “Just a moment,” he said before walking back behind his desk. If he wasn’t mistaken, that tone meant someone was breaking in. Ahh, he was right. Toad had decided to sneak in, for whatever reason. He was invited, why the hell was he using the window. The hallway camera caught him sneaking into a small corner. Tom was mad enough to kill the whelp, but curious enough to let him go. Letting his curiosity get the better of him, he decided to ignore it and see what happened. But Toad was straddling a very thin line. Looking back at Theresa, Tom said “false alarm.” walking back to her, he put his arm around the girl and walked out the room to find Madison.

Tom returned her affection and replied, “I told ya before. Ya never have ta thank me for that.”
“Aye, that ya did but I also told ya that it won't stop me. Ya really did a wonderful and brave thing when ya adopted me, Tom. Sure, we could never make it legal cause ya could never find my father and make him sign tha papers but that never mattered. As far as I'm concerned, Sean Cassidy never existed. Yuir my father in every sense of tha word,” Theresa told him. Even if they ever did come across her lowlife of a biological father, it was too late to get the official papers signed. She was already eighteen, legally an adult and responsible for herself. It was funny how she always ended up coming home when she had a bit of free time. Being an “adult” wasn't always as fun as it looked.
Tom led her to the door and said, “Ya have a deal. And I’m sure yah’ll be called up soon, with or without my help. Come on, let‘s tell Madison we have guests fuir dinner.”
She was just about to comply when his computer began making more beeping sounds, ones she recognized as the house security. With a sigh, Theresa watched as Tom walked back to his computer and she leaned against the wall next to his door. While he did whatever it was he was doing, Terry opened the door to look outside. She had heard Bella standing around impatiently a few moments ago but apparently, the woman must have left. Probably heard there was a new Maurader on his way over and she was going to go greet him. She'd probably scare him away the second she opened her mouth.
Tom came back over and put his arm around her and said it was a false alarm. That surprised her. She didn't think that their security system was designed to have false alarms. “Are ya sure? Maybe something broke in a window,” she asked, a bit concerned. The last thing she wanted was some idiot, not knowing who's house he just broke into, going through her underwear drawer. There would be hell to pay if that ever happened.
They walked into the kitchen, arm in arm and Maddie gave them a sweet smile. “Tom says we are having guests fer dinner. My suggestion is ta use paper plates and plastic utensils considering who our guests are,” she told the other woman. Maddie never once questioned her why she called her father “Tom” but seemed to just accept that was how they did things. Unless she knew the truth. That would have surprised Theresa, though.
Then she suddenly had an idea. “Tom, why don't we have a barbeque outside? Tis a beautiful evening and if Bella and tha new guy start ta be annoying, we can take off somewhere real easy. I am now able ta carry at least yuir weight when I'm flying without it fatiguing me too much.”

Looking around at the hallway Toad noticed something up above moving in his direction. It was a security camera squared straight on him. Toad sucked in some air and like spitting out a giant louge launched a glob of mucus over the camera. In a few hours the goo would harden and fall off on it’s own. Of course there was a good chance he had already been spotted and was probably going to get in some major trouble for his showboating mistake. If he was seen or not he knew he had to get moving so quickly began bouncing his way down the halls. He hopped quickly to cover the ground fast and did his best to stick to dark corners and doorways. He kept his eye out for security cameras and when he spotted them covered them up with his slime.
‘Well so far no guards in this bloody mausoleum. Course if I do come across them I should make sure not to kill any of the sods. I just wana show this Black Tom mc what I can do not make him pissed off. Last thing I need is more people lookin down on ol' Toad.’ Toad tried to formulate some kind of plan but strategies never were his strong suite. His mind was best at fighting and taking down an enemy not figuring out away around them. Still he knew he had to tread lightly with this little game. If he came across guards he’d beat them up and knock them out. If he came across civilian’s he’d have to try not to freak them out to badly and either run away or incapacitate them if they were gonna cause him trouble. ‘Course what if I run into the master of the house himself. Well there is that one number I did back to commander of unit B. It’s risky but it works really well with a certain type of person. With any luck the bloke is at least the kind of person to tolerate it. Hopefully he’s not the kind to try and kill me for it.’ Toad thought to himself as he hopped around the hallway corner.

Belladonna lumbered down the hall like a madwoman. Maybe it was those breakneck sandals she wore with 3 inch heels, or maybe it was just because no one was around to call her on being clumsy...
But Bella was MOVING.
She took a turn around the corner and SLAM.
Limbs flew everywhere, Belladonna was knocked off her feet and landed unceremoniously on her butt. "Que l'enfer vous fait-il pense que vous êtes-" She started yelling in rapidfire French but when she saw it was the new recruit...or at least who she GUESSED was the newest recruit, she plastered a smile on.
"Me pardonner.." she started, a very unnatural thing for Bella. She never ever pardoned herself like that as if he were an equal. But it was all part of the plan...she needed this kid for her own revenge.
Theresa was in for it, starting from the bottom of the totem pole right up to a place where a pole would be used for other pourposes.
Que l'enfer vous fait-il pense que vous êtes- What the do you think you are-
Me pardonner- Excuse me

Toad flipped back into the air as his bouncing turn around the corner had caused him to crash into someone knocking his body back. He landed with a well controlled splits low to the ground. He lowered his head as he pulled his body under control.
"Que l'enfer vous fait-il pense que vous êtes-"
He heard coming from a female voice in front of him. Looking over without lifting his head all the way he could see it was indeed a woman crashed rather unflatteringly on her rump. ‘What is this Marauders the international group we got brit, a mc and now a bloody Frog.’
"Me pardonner.."
‘Ohh great what do you do now Mortimer she obviously ain’t no blooming guard. She looks a little well dressed for hired help then again what do I know she could the bloody maid on her way to scrub a toilet for all I know.’ “Think nothin of it deary, it was my fault.” Toad offered and stood up straight looking at the woman. He decided to find out who she was before deciding to attack or hop away, or both. And to do that he would naturally lie. “Didn’t mean to run ya over there I was just tryin ta make me way through this place and then I…you do speak English don’t ya or am I just prattling on here without you havein a bloody clue what I’m saying?”

As they walked through the halls on the way to kitchen, Tom watched the shadows. He knew where Toad was when he looked at the monitor, but who knows how fast or stealthily he could move. He was a member of the Red Guard after all. “Are ya sure? Maybe something broke in a window,” Wow, good instincts. Tom didn't Tom didn't have a clear view of how far she'd come in her training but it was obviously paying off. Toad's little game could also turn out to be great practice for her. "Tis nothin. It happens sometimes, usually a bee or big insect will set it of." he lied, trying to see if she could pick up on what was going on.
Tom couldn't help but wonder why the new recruit was going to all this trouble. Did he really want to piss off his new boss on the first day? Or was he trying to do something impressive?Tom really hoped that wasn't it. Because this was the wrong way to go about pleasing Black Tom. If that's what he wanted, Toad would have to do something better than breaking into a house. Hell, Tom was doing that before he was Theresa's age.
They reached the Kitchen and Theresa happily announced “Tom says we are having guests fer dinner. My suggestion is ta use paper plates and plastic utensils considering who our guests are,” Tom chuckled at the assumption as well as Madison. She was always in a nicer mood when Theresa was home. He figured it was because he, himself, was a lot easir to deal with when Siryn was around. It also had a lot to do with Theresa too. Madison became the permenant housekeeper when they moved to Genosha, so she took care of Theresa for a lot longer than any other housekeepers.
“Tom, why don't we have a barbeque outside? Tis a beautiful evening and if Bella and tha new guy start ta be annoying, we can take off somewhere real easy. I am now able ta carry at least yuir weight when I'm flying without it fatiguing me too much.” Theresa pulled him out of his thoughtswith what sounded like a very good idea. This would also Theresa found Toad and tried to fight him, or tried to fight bella. "Great idea! Why don't ya help Madsion prepare and I'll start a fire in tha pit." He offered, pulling his arm away from Theresa and walking away.
