Apparently Vicky wasn't too impressed with her co-star. Jean-Paul couldn't help but grin, or at least, show his teeth, as the girl detached herself from him, backing as far away from Creed as possible.
"Beaubier, stop being a jackass and unlock the... what's that smell?" Creed snapped. Jean-Paul widened his eyes, face a veritable mask of fraudulent innocence. "Why Victor, all I can detect is your customary fragrance." He replied sweetly. The man headed around the building and howls of what was presumably rage. The man stormed his way back around the corner looking decidedly pink, the rancid smell that had nothing to do with the oil Jean-Paul had burnt the clothes with and everything to do with Creed's complete lack of personal hygiene practicall wafting in a cloud surrounding im.
"You're going to die, Jean-Paul. You're going to die a painful, drawn out death that will feel like years because of your little speedy thing. I'm going to kill you." Creed threatened and Jean-Paul rolled his eyes. The man was so repetitive. "Your going to die Jean-Paul, I'm going to kill you over years Jean-Paul blah blah blah." He mocked, voice acid. "Despite your months of threats, I still seem to be remarkably alive. Your all bark and no real bite."
Creed was trying to recruit Vicky and Lucky to his cause when, wonder of wonders, out burst the tin can man. "I invade your home, so now you intend to invade mine?" Exodus asked quite angry. "You knew you where you could find me," Exodus said with more anger in his voice. Red fumes erupted from his eyes. "What is it that you want?" He appeared to be in a fine temper, and also more than a little acquainted with Jean-Paul's newest playmate.
"I came to find out why the peaceful little island I chose for a well needed vaction has a fortress." Lucky spoke up again.
Cocking an eyebrow at the two of them, Jean-Paul clicked his tongue irritably. "Don't tell me you've been keeping secrets?" He asked, surprised. "How very naughty of you Lucky." He'd honestly never thought he'd see the day when he'd meet someone worse at keeping secrets than Victor Creed, but the walking cigar case had just introduced himself. Honestly, did these people not understand the concept of secret terrorist hideout? It was bizarre how hordes of Sentinels or magistrates or anti-mutant psychopaths hadn't descended on the Brotherhood long ago. No wonder the X-men always came out on top.

Theresa stared in shock as the beast.... no, Victor Creed, the man did have a name, threatened to kill Jean-Paul then looked at her and Tom suggesting they would like to help. The most shocking part was, he didn't look at her threateningly like she had expected.
Just as she was beginning to relax a little bit, she heard a familiar voice boom out from behind her. Turning quickly, her long braid just missed hitting him by a few centimeters, she took a few steps backward. Nearly stumbling, she turned back around and walked back to Tom, giving everyone else a very wide berth.
Tom was where she felt safe, even though he was probably furious with her for messing his plans up. She wondered if she was going to be put on the next plane back to Ireland after this. Standing close to him without actually touching him, she nibbled on her bottom lip and waited to see what would happen next. The whole scene, the whole day, really, had taken on a surreal feeling.

He rolled his eyes as Exodus came out, somewhat out of it, and took a leak in the nearby bushes. This place was insane. Before the door had a chance to close again, he stuck his foot in it and picked up the food, grunting a little bit as he repositioned the weight on his shoulders. "I'll be in the kitchen if anyone needs me."

Exodus stepped up closer to the man in question. The fear in his female companion was obvious, Exodus didn't need his telepathy to see it. This Black Tom though, seemed more arrogant than ever. There was nothing else Exodus wanted to do but wipe the man's head clear of any coherent thought and leave him as a vegetable. But the man posed an interesting question. They knew of this bunker because of him, so Exodus was at fault for this whole situation.
"The fortress you refer to his my home," Exodus started to explain. He knew that the two were mutants. When poking around in their heads, he found out that information. That is one reason he didn't slay them on their yacht. "You two are mutants are you not?" Exodus asked. It would be more easier to recruit the two for the brotherhood's cause if the truth was let out.

Tom's only kindred spirit left for the kitchen but he scaring Theresa, so it was for the best anyway. Jean-paul had become frustrated, and that gave Tom a great sense of happiness. Unfortunately, Exodus was still there to ruin it. "You know what we are." he replied. His disdain for this man was obvious.

Vicky nearly had a heart attack when Exodus arrived, looking like she was about to either run away, explode or vomit.
That wasn't going to help her movie career.
"I'll be in the kitchen if anyone needs me." Creed grunted, completely ignored everything, wandering off into the kitchen. "Nobody will!" Jean-Paul called after him politely.
"The fortress you refer to his my home," Exodus started to explain.
Jean-Paul did facepalm this time. Honestly, did the man have no concept of secrecy? Muttering under his breath and pacing back and forth, gesticulating wildly with his arms, Jean-Paul ranted quietly, "Its not like there aren't government organizations after us. Nooooooooo. Instead half of us sit here in a big fat lump of metal while bloody Magneto up and vanishes completely into hiding, his crazy deputy apparently can't keep it in her pants and has run off to God knows where with her little love slave, leaving me stuck here with Creed and the walking iron maiden. Jesus Jean-Paul, what were you thinking? You could have joined a clever organization. An organized organization. No, instead you listen to the stupid inbred redneck woman and come here of all the places you could have."
There was no point paying attention to what was going on, or going anywhere else. Creed who was no doubt fumigating the kitchen in his own special way, was the only other person in the base. Oh how glorious the leaders in the fight for mutant rights were. Vicky was to flat out terrified to speak, Exodus, that loony medieval recreationist or whatever the moron was claiming he was this week was yammering on to Lucky about something no doubt typical and dull, probably about how all women are evil scheming cows. Like Jean-Paul didn't already know that.
So he simply continued to ignore them entirely, pacing back and forth around the group and past Theresa, hands waving wildly.

Theresa watched as Creed walked into the..... fortress as Tom called it and gave a sigh of relief. Then, when Exodus pretty much said point blank that they were mutants, Theresa's eyes grew wide. She looked over at Tom but he seemed unphased so she just tried to keep her face as calm as his, not realizing she probably looked ridiculous.
The kicker, however, was Jean-Paul, Mr. Stryker porn star himself. He began to pace around, muttering about cross bred rednecks and iron maidens. She had no idea what he was talking about, only that he had the funniest look on his face. Theresa watched him intently as he ranted and she smiled.
The smile turned into a small giggle then a full laugh. The entire day had been so different from anything she was used to and she couldn't help it. From the time she had stepped off the boat and onto this island it seemed that strange things had happened and put together, she wondered if she could possibly write a book that would keep the readers in stitches.
Knowing that no one else probably found the situation funny, she tried to stop laughing. Looking at Jean-Paul, she said, “Yuir face has got to be the funniest thing I have ever seen.”

Exodus listened to the whining man he had met a while back. The man never quit his complaining and Exodus wondered if that was incorporated in his mutant powers, the ability to bitch consistantly. There was nothing else more revolting or disgusting than a person who can enjoy nothing out of life and in turn make everyone else listen to their worthless voice.
"They are not government workers," Exodus responded to his fellow brotherhood member. "I have already poked around in their heads. This one," he said as he pointed to Black Tom. "is a criminal while his female companion is clueless to everything he has done."
Exodus turned his attention back to the two mutants that have been causing him a lot of problems for the last day. Black Tom's hatred for Exodus was more than apparent and the joy of that thought thrilled Exodus to no end. He knew exactly what he needed to do with them but it was best to keep things as simple as possible.
"Nevermind this man in your way," Exodus said referring to Jean-Paul. "His whining is best left unnoticed or he will continue to use you as a subject for his constant complaining," Exodus explained as he walked up past the two intruders to the front entrance. "You may enter on one condition, if you do not wish to join this brotherhood organization and protect mutant rights, I will wipe your memory clean of this experience," Exodus finished as he opened one door for them to enter at their own will.

Black Tom cared very little about mutant rights. Although, of the three people he truly cared about(besides himself of coarse), the only one still alive was a mutant. So it wasn't exactly a non-issue. And For the sake of his own and Theresa's safety, he had to know what was inside that building. Tom held his hand out to Theresa. There was no way he was leaving her alone around these people.

The outside world was making a concerted effort to intrude on Jean-Paul's ranting but he was having none of it. Completely ignoring Exodus and Lucky for the meantime, it was innocent, naïve little Vicky's laughing out loud that made him stop abruptly and spin around, eyes narrowing.
[Siryn] said, “Yuir face has got to be the funniest thing I have ever seen.”
Jean-Paul winced again instantly, that accent was heavier than he was. It was painful. Exodus was parroting some nonsens, the man very rarely said anything useful whatsoever and his speech was barely comprehensible.
Why couldn't these idiots all just speak French like normal people?
"They are not government workers," Exodus responded to his fellow brotherhood member. "I have already poked around in their heads. This one," he said as he pointed to Black Tom. "is a criminal while his female companion is clueless to everything he has done."
"Oh well that makes everything A-OK!!!" Jean-Paul shouted. Waving his hands around at Exodus' head, he continued "Criminal does not mean useful! It just means criminal! God, what hole did they dig you out of?"
Honestly, this place truly was populated by complete idiots. There was no way around it. Barely resisting the urge to launch into a juvenile display of repeating everything the can said, Jean-Paul took up his ranting and yelling again, striding into the headquarters this time rather than pacing around the group. The crazed out here were giving him ulcers, the residual smell of Creed's clothing (honestly, was it even a surprise that burning couldn't cure them of their stench?) was making his eyes water and he still hadn't had any breakfast? Didn't these cretinous barrels of ineptitude know what it was like to need to eat fifteen times a day and miss meals?

The look on his face when Jean-Paul stopped ranting and pacing to glare at her almost did her in. Theresa had to look away but she still couldn't keep the smirk of amusement off her face. She really didn't pay too much attention to what Exodus was saying, something about mutant rights or whatever. She was still having too much fun watching Jean-Paul stomp away in a huff. The man's temper was almost as fiery as her own.
When Tom held his hand out for her, she automatically took it and walked with him toward the structure. Theresa wasn't too thrilled to see the inside. If the company in there was any indication of what things were like out here, she'd just as soon walk away from all of them. However, she was here with Tom and from the grip he had on her, he was going to make sure she didn't go anywhere. She idly wondered if they would be allowed to leave once they entered the building.
She looked at Tom for reassurance then took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Walking past Exodus, she made her way into the odd building, letting her eyes adjust to the change in light.

Exodus let them walk inside after that whining little girl walked away in another temper tantrum. He had gotten used to ignoring the she-man so his rants have been absolutely meaningless. In fact, Exodus would've killed him a long time ago if it wasn't for Magneto. Magneto wants all mutants who would like to serve his cause a chance to serve, regardless of their whining ways.
Once inside the doorway, Exodus locked the doors behind him. With Exodus not at his post, he didn't want others to enter without his knowledge.
"Go ahead and explore. I will have a mental lock on you both," Exodus explained. "If there is somewhere you should not be venturing, you will know instantly," he finished crossing his arms over his chest. He really didn't want to have to give them a tour. The disgust he still had for Black Tom would not wash away that easily.

Exodus kept a psychic touch on the two visitors throughout their journey through the base. Satisfied, so far, with what they have seen, Exodus returned to his post outside the door. Hopefully, with any luck, the two visitors will decide their fate soon. Then Exodus can return to his training that was interrupted the day before.
As the visitors filtered their way through the fortress, Exodus perched himself on top of the entrance but kept the door locked. If the visitors wander somewhere they are not intended to be, Exodus planned to use his new ability to quickly redirect them.

Magneto landed near the entrance to the Brotherhood, deep in his own thoughts. He had been investigating this 'Mutant Registration Act' that was being put up for a vote in the United States. The bill was an insult, the frightened nonsense of children who thought they could oppress their betters. The mere thought of it enraged him. He had returned to gather his Brotherhood of Mutants and be ready to attack if the Congress dare passes that abominable bill.
He continued towards the door, his nose assaulted by the most vile odor he had ever smelled. It smelled as if someone was deep frying a rotten carcass. What in name all that was holy had they been doing while he was gone? The grounds were in poor shape. Who was burning things? Erik wanted answers and he wanted them now. He noticed Exodus perched above the entrance. Fine, he would begin with him.
He approached the armored mutant and glared up at him. "What is that burning?" he demanded harshly. "This place looks like a pigsty and I haven't even gone inside yet. What all have you all been doing in my absence, Exodus?"
He crossed his arms over his chest and waited for the answer. If he didn't like it, heads were going to roll. He thought he'd recruited the most powerful beings in the world. Instead, he feared he had a collection of spoiled children who were direly in need of a lesson in discipline.

Exodus was in deep concentration to what the two visitors were doing. They were wandering to their dissatisfaction. Which pleased Exodus. He didn't want Black Tom here. The personal enjoyment he would have to crush the man would be too inviting to hold back from. Exodus didn't sense Magneto walk up to the entrance but he saw him. Jumping down from his perch, Exodus intended to greet the man but instead he was on the defensive.
"I have been standing guard while you were away, my leige," Exodus explained. "We have two visitors. Both mutants. They may be able to help in our conquest," Exodus wanted to be the first to tell him of the visitors so the surprise would not anger the man. "I have barely made time to be inside the facility. I do not know what condition it is in," He confessed finally before dropping to one knee with his head bowed. "I have failed you."
