it was one of the daily barges of mutants refugees. Moss stepped off with an angry expression. he had been chased from his neighborhood by the very community he had called family. he had had to leave his grandmother and mother behind, for this place. he would make his name and life known, that much he was sure of. he would show the humans what he was... he would show them he was better than they could ever dream of. now he just had to find out how to sign onto that Brotherhood he'd heard about.

He walked the dock, waiting for the transport barge to arrive. He always hated it when he got sent to be the welcoming committee. He hated it even worse when he had to pick up the groceries. Especially when Raven put down that she needed tampons. He knew that she did that on purpose. He wasn't some kind of house maid, he was a killing machine. How could he get that through their heads?
A gust of wind blew in from the ocean, carrying with it a large number of scents. Some angry, some sad... The transport would be there soon. He looked around at the other people assembled at the port. All of them quicly averted their eyes. They knew him, if only by reputation and what they read in the papers about the Brotherhood. What was best though, was that they knew not to try and strike up a conversation.
The boat docked, and mutants started filing off. He sniffed the air, waiting for a specific scent. Only some mutants were fit to be in the brotherhood. He stopped sniffing as a young man stepped off of the barge. He walked up next to him and inhaled deeply. Yep. This kid had it... had something.
"You, come with me. We're going shopping."
He started to walk off of the pier and towards the market district.

Moss didn't know this guy, but he could tell not to mess with him. after walking quietly behind the larger man for a few minutes, "you're El dente Sabre!" ((I half made that in spanish up))

((that's ok, I don't speak spanish anyways, never would have known.))
"you're El dente Sabre!" He grunted and turned to the man, before pointing to a nearby store.
"And you're going to buy all of the toiletries on this list for me. Then, you're going to come back with me to the Brotherhood."
He handed the man some money and walked away to buy the rest of the groceries, returning some time later to the same spot.
"You ready?"

Having been raised by his mother and grandmother, Moss had been sent frequently to buy feminine products. thus when Sabertooth returned, Moss was standing there with the bag by his feet, juggling, unsuccesfully I might add, a box of feminine products.
"Whenever you are jefe," he said with a shrug as he dropped the box he was tossing about.

Sabretooth beckoned Moss to follow him, as they made their way through the dense jungles of Genosha. Sabretooth had traversed the jungle many times, so he knew the area like the back of his hand. He glanced back every so often to see Moss manipulating the local flora in various ways.
Eventually after much twisting and turning, they reached a small clearing in front of a seemingly ordinary cliff face. Sabretooth went right up to a spot on the cliff and pressed something. Two giant pieces of rock seemed to part and reveal a long dark corridor lined with a pewter-like metal. Sabretooth lead Moss through the complex until they arrived at Magneto's room.

<<Continued from "Anywhere Else: On the Water">>
Wolverine looked behind him as the SRV, submerged itself below the waves. Swimming beneath the water he made his way to the dock. Noticing there wasnt much activity above Logan made his way to the surface, took a quick look around; then exited the water, onto the rocks beneath the pier.

Looking around it didn't take Logan long to realize that he wasnt going to get far with what he was wearing. The highlights on his uniform alone would cause him to stick out like a soar thumb, 500 yards away.
"Nah, better think of something else 'Rine. Need a disguise...oh lookie lookie here comes one now, and what do you know, looks like a perfect fit"
Spence' had been sick of standing around all day working himself to the bone. He deserved a smoke break and boss or no boss he was going to get one. Sure the Skipper paid him well; but in his eyes the yield was still nothing to 'write home about'. He didn't even know what they where doing on this god forsaken island anyway. His thoughts were suddenly interupted when a rustling sound from under the pier caught his attention.
"Who's there? Wayne is that you? Yo, dude quit screw'n around bro. Wayne?"
Logan waited patiently for the kid to get close enough, as soon as the sailor was in range Logan did a quick strike to the back of the lower neck, jarring his brain. The effect was quite immediate as Spence was knocked quickly into unconsciousness.
A few moments later Logan had ditched his uniform for a rough flanel shirt and western style jeans ensemble.
"Well.. it ain't pretty, but it 'ill do." Logan looked over at the boy making sure he was still knocked out. "Sorry bout that. I'll send you an apology later..."
Logan made his way up past the pier and toward the center of the two guard posts protecting a central gate, that led to the inner complex...

Standing in the same spot for nearly two hours had become tiresome.
While Kurt had tried to teach Logan the many virtues of life, Logan quickly decided that patience would never be one of them. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't just wait, not when there was so much to do.
"Come on Bub.. Dont you guys ever change shifts or does Ole' Magnet brain have you guys on a short leash.."
The guard quickly spun around, swinging his rifle butt to hit whoever had snuck up on him. Logan blocked the swing with his bare arm, then countered with a move of his own, an uppercut to the gut lifting him up over his head then bringing him down hard to the ground.
"Now.. where's your buddy..."

Rogue landed at the docks and looked around. She could have sworn that she saw Wolverine come this way. She dropped Gambit rather unceremoniously onto the pier and started to look around.

Landing with a thump, he scrambled to his feet, rubbing his bottom. "Ow! What's going on? Why'd we leave?"
He hadn't heard the message, probably because he was still recovering from the process of having the green lady taken out of him.
"Ah'll explain later. Just look for Wolverine."
Shrugging, he started to look around, soon getting sidetracked and making faces at a passing child.

Logan enterd the Bay, still dressed in his earlier acquired attire. He stopped for a moment as a familiar scent crossed his ofactory senses. Moving toward it he heard a familiar cajun voice.
"Ow! What's going on? Why'd we leave?"
"Well, well looks like my mission wasn't a total failure." , Wolverine said exiting the brush. "Where's Rogue?"
Logan stared at Gambit, something was different about him he seemed unsure of himself almost intoxicated. Thinking nothing of it he crossed his arms waiting for Gambit to respond...

He whirled around, blinking and reminding himself that whirling quickly was probably a bad idea.
"Wolverine, mon ami... so glad I found you. She's lookin' for you around here somewhere... she was standin' right dere seconds ago..."
He stood up on a bench and tried to spot her, but had no luck and started to lose his balance, catching himself just in time to sit down at the bench and hold his head in his hands.
"Dunno where she went."

She flew up from under the dock, having spotted Remy's near fall.
"Hey, you okay?" She leaned in next to him and noticed that he was drifting in and out of consciousness. Looking up, she spied Wolverine. She straightened up a bit and smiled sheepishly. "Uh... hey. Ah was lookin' for you."
Before he had a chance to respond, she spoke again, not leaving enough room in-between her words for him to interject. "Ah'm guessin' you heard the Professor's message, Remy and Ah are headed there now. Ah see you have one of the new mini jets parked under the dock there. You can take that or Ah'll fly you there. Your choice. And can we please not discuss the reason for this rescue in the first place at least until we get back home?"

Logans mind was full of question about why Rogue had acted the way she had done recently, but thinking better of it he decided it not best to tangle with someone, even verbally who could literally wretch his power from him.
"...Allright if thats what you want. I'll set the SRV to auto it will make its way back to the portal. Don't ask its a long story. Yeah, so anyway lets go."
Wolverine reached into his pocket after retracting his claws. He pulled out a small remote and activated it. A small humming noise could be heard as the craft took off away from the bay.
"All set.."
