Ear shut up at this and decided that it really wasn't worth wasting his breath on this kid. Resigning himself he started mentally preparing himself for the encounter with this...'madame'. He set up the blocks to his early memories and blocked out everything from his mind but that that he would reveal to the madame.
((fine... I guess you can drag Ear up there... don't see how I can prevent it))

<<Continued from Forge's Apartment>>
The walk across campus had been more exhilirating then had been expected. The cold air was making Forge feel very much alive and in tune with his Indian side. He enjoyed the cold more then most, though his artifical limbs would sometimes offer up a complaint or two.
Continuing briskly to the front of the main entrance he heard music coming from Emma's apartment, he smirked to himself seeing that she was keeping them well entertained.
A feeling crept over him for a moment as his shamanistic background had made him more aware of things around him. He could have swore he felt someone watching him, but the feeling soon passed.

White Queen from inside the Dorm
< Forge, I am escorting our latest guest to the gates. He won't fit in with our agenda and it is best for him to leave. I need to see you as soon as I'm done. Something has come up. > Emma mentally informed him.

Bracing herself against the cold of the night, Emma's breath came through clearly in the air as she walked toward the gate. Thankfully, she had a very efficient staff and the walkway was already clear. Lamp posts lit up the area in which they walked and Emma glanced at all the buildings around her. She had done a marvelous job taking over the dilapidated school several years ago and transforming it into one of the most sought after academies in the country.
She noticed movement out of the corner of her eye and a quick check revealed it to be Forge. Knowing they had to talk about what was happening in Washington before she could get to bed quickened her footsteps toward the gate.
Reaching the gate, she punched in an access code that unlocked and opened the doors, then stepped back. Looking at Jon, she said, “I wish I could say it has been a pleasure but your stubbornness has cost me a great deal of time. Good luck in your.... adventures.”<br> She would wait for him to pass through the gate before she would begin to erase his memories of the school, her students and herself.

"Just remember, it was your choice if I stayed or not." He didn't bother waiting for an answer he turned and walked out the gate. The white student uniform would have to go, but he could pawn it later. It was sturdy, but not as warm as he could have wished. No worries he wasn't that far from civilization.

As Emma listened to his parting words, she replied, < No, Jonathon, you made this decision yourself. > Then she set to work finding his most recent memories of the last several hours. When she was done taking them away, all he should know is that he is looking for the town of Snow Valley and shelter there. The Massachusetts Academy never existed.
Turning away, she closed the gates with the same keypad and walked back to her apartment. She mentally gave Beatrice instructions for boiling the tea kettle on her way in.

Jonathon reached the road and looked around. Nothing to see either direction. Oh, well. Left it was.

It had been late when Chamber's flight had finally arrived in Boston. Even though the Winter term at the university he was attending didn't start for another month, he had come to the United States early. He purchased a bus ticket to Snow Valley from the city. Hopefully, he'd be to the Massachusetts Academy by early morning. He needed to speak to Emma Frost about continuing his training.
Jono stared out the window of the bus, adjusting the black bandages of covering his face, making certain they were still in place. He watched the snow falling as the bus moved down the interstate, and wondered what he thought he was doing. He'd hated pretending to a be a mute burn victim when he'd attended the Academy, just so the other students wouldn't know he was a mutant. He'd made the resolution when he began dating Sugar Kane that he would never hide again. Then, he found out she was just using him to bolster her career. He'd suspected that deep inside, but had refused to see it. He thought he was too old to believe in fairy tales. Beauty and the beast. Rubbish. He resolved never to be treated like that again.
The bus dropped him off in Snow Valley a couple of hours later. Even with the cold, he decided to walk. It wasn't like he really got cold. The walk out to the academy gave him more time to think. He wasn't certain he was doing the right thing, returning to Emma Frost and the Hellions. But where else could he go? He had no family, hardly any friends. And he needed more training in his powers. He wanted to learn to read other people's minds, like Ms. Frost did, not merely project his thoughts into other's minds.
The gates of the Massachusetts Academy rose up in front of him. He walked up the them and glanced over at the intercom, scoffing at it mentally. There was a page button on it at least. He hit the page button twice, then began to mentally probe the nearby building for Emma Frost's mind. He would have just 'called' out, but he didn't want to startle any non-mutant students that might still be at school for the holiday. Mind you, they'd likely all be sleeping this late.
Taking a wild guess Ms. Frost might be in her apartment, he sent his thoughts there. Then he sent out a generalized telepathic message. <Merry Christmas, old mum,> he announced, his hallow voice would sound quiet, in case she had company. <Mind opening the gates before I freeze?>

As the gates opened, Emma returned, < Welcome home, Jono. Why don't you join me in my apartment so that I can get a good look at you. >

It didn't take long for the reply to come. The gates swung open and he heard the White Queen's reply in his mind. < Welcome home, Jono. Why don't you join me in my apartment so that I can get a good look at you? >
Jono chuckled inwardly and stepped through the gates. He hadn't expected her to turn him away, but he hadn't expected her to be so welcoming. Don't jump to conclusions, Starsmore,he reminded himself. She could be sharpening her claws while she waits, ready to tear into you the moment you walk into her room. Oddly, knowing that he couldn't completely trust Emma Frost was comforting in a way. After the mess with Sugar, he preferred to know exactly where he stood with people.

< Forge, I am escorting our latest guest to the gates. He won't fit in with our agenda and it is best for him to leave. I need to see you as soon as I'm done. Something has come up. >
Kerian was in deep thought, when Emma's message brushed his mind. He almost giggled out loud, as it sort of "tickled" the back of his thoughts. Composing himself Forge cleared his mind of any "unseemly" thoughts and made his toward Emma's apartment.
"Wonder what she wants now, I hope its nothing too serious."
