Storm walked into the room, not surprised to see basicly the entire group already here, missing only Jean and Scott. Smiling she walked towards the coffee pot, poouring herself only half a cup, then drowning the rest of it in milk. She rarely drank coffee, but this morning, she felt like she needed it. Classes were bound to be interesting, especially since she had been up late last night grading papers. Aiy...if only the students cared as much about European history as they did about girlfrinds and boyfriends, life would be so much easier, for all involved.
She walked in just in time to here Besty telepathically tell everyone about a Danger room meeting, and perked up at once. That was definatly on way to start the morning. Probably a good way to get the frustration out from the previous night. She smiled at Betsy as she walked out, "I'll probably be there as soon as i can find something to eat." She said, low enough for the students to not hear.
The quintuplets were already up, and Storm found herself realizing once more that she didn't even know all of their names, much less who was who. She would really have to work on that in the future. "Good morning everyone." She said, as she went to the refirdgerator and pulled out a few pieces of fruit. Deciding that an apple would be more than enough for this morning, she transferred her half coffee half milk mix into a more portable cup, then leaned up against the counter, eating her apple.

Mindee divided the eggs and the bacon into three plates then handed them to her sisters Phoebe and Sophie. Nobody else seemed interested in having a fully balanced breakfast. The older generation was weird like that. It seemed like they enjoyed saying things like, 'Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.' then they would just OD on coffee.
Ms. Munroe walked in as Ms. Braddock walked in. The girls had to laugh even though Ms. Braddock was psychically cloaked the others weren't. They knew that they all were going to be joining an impromptu Danger Room session. Still they tried to hide it from the girls so they would not skip out on their classes.
"It is quite alright. We know, but do not worry, we will be going to class. I doubt Mr. Summers or Ms. Grey would be happy if we tagged along and missed our important classes." they said in unison. Letting the cat out of the bag.
Esme continued to drain her coffee cup as Celeste threw the yogurt container she had finished away and placed the spoon in sink.
With a wink she stated, "Well I am off to get ready."
Celeste always put so much effort into looking good for classes.
Cramming another bite of bacon Phoebe said what was in all the girls' minds "Isn't it weird, that she takes twice as long to get ready but just ends up looking how we do?"
"Whatever." Esme said drinking fully once again from her cup then turning to Ms. Munroe she asked, "how was my paper?"

Sean enjoyed sitting back and listening to his teammates interact. He heard Betsy's psionic voice in his head. <Alex has suggested a Danger Room session for those who don't have something to do right away. I know I could stretch my limbs before my first class. Anyone is welcome to join us,> She squeezed his hand and left the room.
He resisted the urge to goose her, because there where students in the room. And because she'd kick his butt. He thought about the idea, and it sounded good. He could use a warm up before teaching the students.
Sean stood up, noticing how Betsy had worked her "magic" on it. He didn't feel any pain or stiffness, which was a relief.
"I'll see the rest of ye later."

“Drop dead.” Ouch, strong words. Ash must not have hit her second cup yet, as her come backs were somewhat lacking. “You can‘t hide your feelings from Remy, Cher,” he replied. It was always fun messing with Ash, and she loved it too. She tried to hide it, but Remy could always see how much fun she was having. It’s just something he picked up on. Kind of like the Stepford’s, unlike most, he could tell them apart. It’s just something he did.
<Alex has suggested a Danger Room session for those who don't have something to do right away. I know I could stretch my limbs before my first class. Anyone is welcome to join us,> Betsy sent out to everyone apparently. Remy didn’t need a stretch since he barely slept the night before, but he never turned down a chance to show off.
Remy stood up to throw away the wrapping on his finished muffin. Right after, he stopped by the coffee pot once more, only filling his cup half way this time. The Stepford’s were going on about responsibilities and such. If they really wanted to train, he would convinced the others to let them skip class. It’s not like they would be skipping to screw around, just trading one class for another. “If you girls want ta start the mornin’ wit’ a little workout, I don’ see no problems wit dat. Whatchu say, Stormy?”

< Always, my friend, > Betsy replied. Alex knew she wasn’t about to turn down a session in the Danger Room. That’s where the two of them saw eye to eye, on the battlefield. That’s where they were the best and that’s where their friendship and mutual respect had started. < Alex has suggested a Danger Room session for those who don't have something to do right away. I know I could stretch my limbs before my first class. Anyone is welcome to join us, > Betsy said to all of the adults in the room. Alex knew her to invite as many people as possible. More people to show off in front of, the better. Alex was the same way but at the same time, he enjoyed a quiet session in the Danger Room by himself from time to time. This morning wasn’t one of those times. “Well, I am off to start the day. I'll see you later,” Betsy said to the room before leaving the kitchen. Alex had to run to his room real quick to get changed before meeting everyone in the Danger Room. It wouldn’t take too long.
"I'll see the rest of ye later," Sean said and followed Betsy out of the room. That wasn’t surprising at all. Ororo entered the kitchen and said hello to everyone. It would be nice to see everyone join them in the Danger Room but a good breakfast is a good way to start out the day. Alex shot Remy a glare when he suggested the Cuckoos go with them to the Danger Room. The girls had a class that they couldn’t skip. Remy was a bad influence on the children. All he could do was shake his head.
“I’ll see everyone in class,” Alex said still looking over towards Remy. He walked out of the room and headed towards his room. A change into uniform was needed before getting a session in the Danger Room in.

Storm winced inwardly when one of the Stepford's asked her about her paper. It was a sore subject, not to mention the fact that Storm had little to no idea which one precisly was asking. The one labeled Celeste Stepford was covered in hearts with names she both recognized and didn't, and it was hard to tell the difference between it and the actual paper, while the ones labeled Mindee and Phoebe were definatly two of the highest grades she had even given out. The other two girl's sh wasn't even trying to remeber. "Um--" she was thankfully interuppted by Remy though, who said something about the girl's skipping class to work out in the danger room.
"No Remy. They need to go to class. There was a reason that Betsy tried to keep it quiet, and I'm not interested in getting my butt chewed on. Sorry girls, but you're going to class." She turned away from them to throw out the core of her apple. "The papers will be handed back out in class this afternoon." She said to the one who had querried, before turning back to Ash and Remy. "Joining us?" She said, giving a small grin, "I would love to beat up on you." She told Remy, before walkinf out to follow the rest of the group downstairs.

You can‘t hide your feelings from Remy, Cher, Ash grinned wickedly at Remy's statement and her eyes began to glow green, a sign that she was on the brink of calling forth fire. "Then maybe I won't..." Leaving that threat hanging in the air her eyes returned to their normal color, and she took another sip of coffee, "Ah well, Besty would miss you. What a shame, I was so looking forward to seeing you as a pile of ash." Storm walked in distracting Ash from her tease with Gambit. She acknowledged the woman and then noticed that some of the members had left the kitchen. Oh right, Besty's invitation. She hadn't really paid attention to it at the moment, but now... It sounded like a wonderful idea, Ash would be in a wonderful mood after a little training session in the Danger Room.
If you girls want ta start the mornin’ wit’ a little workout, I don’ see no problems wit dat. Whatchu say, Stormy?”
Ash looked up from her coffee aghast. Inviting them? they had class, not to mention that they weren't exactly in the x-men's league. They'd be crushed. There were too many competative people already heading to the Danger room. Alex, didn't seem to want them either leaving with a small but clear remark of where he wanted the girls. Storm followed that train of thought and declined Remy's question. Ash felt a little bad for the girls, but not really. They had class.
Storm said something about a paper to one of the five Stepford girls and Ash's face fell. Her chemestry quiz! She'd forgotten to grade it. She looked up at Storm mournfully as the women left, ' I'd love to, but I just remembered some papers I have to grade before class." SHe sighed, she much for a good day! She glared at Remy, being the last person besides the girls in the kitchen, and the one she could take her anger out on, " I hope you get crushed."

[[ Entered from Cyclops and Phoenix's room ]]
Scott took Jean's hand lightly as they headed downstairs to the kitchen. Hand holding, the occasional embrace, and the most chaste of kisses was about all the public display affection he felt comfortable showing, especially in front of the students. It had taken a few years to get to that point. Part of it was his own belief they had to set a good example for the students, part his own discomfort with expressing his feelings, and the other part truly consisted of his belief that he did not need to hang all over his wife constantly to prove he loved her.
Jean knew he loved her. She probably knew it before he did and she certainly knew it before he found the courage to say the words to her. She could feel his emotions through their mental link, and she knew his devotion to her was as unwavering as his devotion to the dream. These things were private, just between them and he did not need to prove his feelings for his wife to anyone else but her.
Holding open the door of the kitchen for Jean, he let her precede him. The room was remarkably empty for this time of day. The Stepford girls were there, as was Remy LeBeau, one of the newer additions to school. Scott didn't really trust Gambit all the much, but in the brief time he'd been among them, he'd proved his worth. Now, if the man would stop flirting with his wife, Cyclops might actually like him.
"Good morning girls, Mr. Le Beau," he greeted as he head to the coffee maker. He poured two cups, fixing Jean's the way she liked it, then handing the cup to her. The Stepford girls still creeped him out, for lack of a better term. Certainly, part of it was them, part of it was him, but even raising them from very young children, they still somewhat unnerved him. It didn't mean he didn't care for them, the girls were as close to children he and Jean had, and he was proud of how intelligent they were, and how they had excelled under her tutelage.
Taking a drink of his coffee, Scott glanced around the near empty kitchen. "Where is everyone this morning?" he asked idly. "They haven't actually decided to get to their classes early for once?"

[Enters from "Cyclops and Phoenix's Bedroom"]
When they neared the kitchen, Jean gave her husband a small smile before she entered as he opened the door for her. She liked when he felt comfortable enough to do little things like hold her hand in public. It wasn’t often, and though sometimes she wished it was, Jean was secure in Scott’s love for her, just as her love was for him. When she asked if they could create the mental rapport, it was an all-package deal. Her emotions were totally open to Scott, just like his were to her. She was scared at first that he might not accept, due to all it entailed, and nearly jumped in relieved excitement when he agreed.
Stepping past him into the kitchen, Jean could see Remy was up talking with the Stepfords. "Good morning, Remy, Ash," Jean smiled as she entered, greeting Gambit and Ash as well. Scott never seemed to get on really well with Remy, but Jean suspected it had more to do with personal reasons than anything dealing with the school. Remy continued to demonstrate his dedication to the cause time and time again, coupled with his sometimes contradictory laissez-faire attitude. Jean was glad to have him at the school, seeing as he definitely livened things up. She could practically feel him saying something incriminating about she and Scott being late this morning. Jean gave Ash a smile as well, glad to see her up and about. She was no doubt keeping Remy on his toes.
"Good morning, girls," Jean made eye contact with each of the Stepfords. "I trust everyone slept well?" Being a telepath herself she and the girls connected on a deeper level, and since she and Scott helped raise them into the teenagers they were now, she was close to the quintuplets. Jean enjoyed training with them and though they worked better as a whole, she treated them as individuals. Celeste or Esme might question their late arrival as well, but the other girls weren’t as openly curious as they were.
Moving to wall next to the cabinets Jean carefully slung Scott’s clothing hanger over one of the hooks for car keys and hung it up, away from any appliances or wayward food. Slipping into a chair she sat down just as Scott handed her a cup of coffee, exactly how she liked it. Giving him an appreciative smile she accepted it, "Thank you, Sweetheart."
"Where is everyone this morning?" Scott glanced over his cup of coffee. "They haven't actually decided to get to their classes early for once?" Jean chuckled to herself, knowing how everyone liked to sleep in. Scott was usually the first to rise but with the late work night, he’d needed what little rest he could get. Jean took a sip of her coffee, reveling in it for a moment as it woke her senses before redirecting her attention back to the others.

“If you girls want ta start the mornin’ wit’ a little workout, I don’ see no problems wit dat. Whatchu say, Stormy?” Gambit's suggestion had put a stop in Celeste's exit route. Her eyes shone with possibilites.
But that was all quickly cut short by MR. A. Summers stating that he would see everyone IN class. Then to reasure everyone Ms. Munroe made this final comment before heading out, "No Remy. They need to go to class. There was a reason that Betsy tried to keep it quiet, and I'm not interested in getting my butt chewed on. Sorry girls, but you're going to class."
Then with a quick assurance that the papers would be returned in class she left.
Ms. Ash remembered her paper grading . The could see it clearly in their mind.
Esme looked at the others,"You realized that Ms. Munroe still cannot tell us apart."
Then the parentals finally arrived. Mr. Summers and Ms. Grey. They were later than usual. After getting their daily cup of java Mr. Summers asked, "Where is everyone this morning?" He glanced over his cup of coffee. "They haven't actually decided to get to their classes early for once?"
Ms. Grey said hello to everyone.
"Good morning Ms. Grey. They are all in an early morning Danger Room session. But were afraid we skip class so they tried to keep it under wraps...We think its funny we are telepaths after all." The girls said in unison.
Then in Ms. Grey's mind they continued, < Ms. Ash does not think we are in the X-men's league...we are very upset about it. >
Celeste then broke contact, "I gotta go." With that she kissed Ms. Grey in the cheek and left.

Of course, Remy’s idea was quickly vetoed by damn near everyone. You’d think he just gave the girls permission to get tattooed the way everyone looked at him. Then again, if they did want tattoos, he wouldn’t stop them. Their choice, not his. Now, he just felt bad for getting their hopes up. Rolling his eyes toward the others, Gambit finished his coffee and said “Sorry ladies, Remy tried. I’ take ya’ll in later ta make up fo’r it.”
He put away his empty cup in the dishwasher and turned around in just enough time to hear Storm say "Joining us? I would love to beat up on you." He chuckled a little bit, wondering what kind of superman could turn down that offer. Pushing himself away from the counter, Remy followed along. From behind him, he heard Ash try to get in one last comment before he left the room. "I hope you get crushed." Remy turned around to back out of the room. “Me too, Cher. Dat way, you could nurse me back ta healt’.”
As Remy turned around, he was right in front of the first couple themselves. “Mornin’ you two, Sleep well?” He asked with a wink. Scott most likely wouldn’t take the joke well. He never really did warm up to Remy, or his sense of humor. Jean, on the other hand, never seemed to have a problem with him. Not that big a surprise really. Giving a slight wave to them, Remy continued out of the kitchen into the Danger Room.

As Gambit left Ash scowled after him. She wasn't able to come up with anything to say until he was gone. "Coward." She said to no one in particular, "I wasn't finished with him." By that time Scott and Jean had come in. Ash hadn't really noticed their abscence till now. Once they had shown up it registered that it was a little late for them to be here. Scott was usually one of the first people in the kitchen.
"Hello Jean, Scott." She said quietly after the Stepfords had spoken, "Like they said, everyone but me an' Gambit is at the Danger Room. Of course the dirty rascal has gone to join them." She drank the last gulp of coffee in her cup and set it in the dishwasher. " And I'm off to grade papers before class. Just what I need to start off the day." She walked to the door and then paused, " Oh... did I forget to smile?" She flashed them a pained smile and left.
She had never been a morning person, and grading papers was not at the top of her favorites list. She wondered absentmindedly for the hundreth time, why she had taken up a job at a school. Had she been drunk when she signed on? No... She'd never been drunk in her life. When one was drunk they lost all control of themselves. She would never do that on purpose. She shook her head, ah well, perhaps she'd figure it out some other time.

"Good morning Ms. Grey. They are all in an early morning Danger Room session,” Jean glanced up from her coffee, used to hearing the girls speak in unison. “But were afraid we skip class so they tried to keep it under wraps...We think its funny we are telepaths after all." At the girls’ observation Jean hid a smile. It was easy to forget what the Stepfords were capable of if you weren’t familiar with them. Along with Jean, Betsy had extremely strong mental blocks, but anyone else who wasn’t familiar with how to construct them was open to their wayward thoughts being picked up by the identical quints.
"I’m glad you’ve all chosen not to skip class," Jean commended them, at the same time giving the girls that expectant look as if to say she knew they would all attend class on time. "Sorry ladies, Remy tried. I’ take ya’ll in later ta make up fo’r it." It figured Remy was involved. Arching a brow at him Jean didn’t say anything, knowing Remy wouldn’t purposely do anything to cause the girls harm. He was more protective of the students than she’d initially thought.
"Mornin’ you two, Sleep well?" Jean hid a knowing smile, locking eyes with Remy, "Oh, of course," Then she quickly glanced at Scott, sending him a wave of comfort. Not saying anything about the thinly veiled flirtation between Ash and Remy, Jean went back to her coffee as the red-eyed mutant left.
" And I'm off to grade papers before class. Just what I need to start off the day." Ash gave them a pained look before she left, off to grade the aforementioned papers. Amused Jean knew how she felt, but it was part of being a teacher. All the responsibilities came with the job. Perhaps Ash needed a lighter workload. Jean made a note to talk with Scott about it later.
< Ms. Ash does not think we are in the X-men's league...we are very upset about it. > The Cuckoo’s mental signature was easy to recognize and Jean’s brows raised at the tone of their ‘voice.’ Even mentally she could feel their frustration.
Jean set her coffee down on the table, < Did she say something to you? I don’t think Alicia meant to hurt your feelings if she did. She isn’t aware of the extent of your capabilities. > Besides Jean and Betsy, the other teachers worked with the girls on a somewhat surface level. Jean had been able to sift through the strict mandate of their programming, showing the girls that there was more than what they’d been trained as ‘correct,’ and was able to further develop their telepathic skills as the years went on. They had become like surrogate daughters to her and Scott, and while Jean made sure not to show any favoritism she couldn’t help but feel particularly close to the girls.
"I gotta go." Celeste said abruptly, giving Jean a kiss on the cheek before she left. “Have a good day, Celeste,” Jean replied, smiling quickly as she watched her go before returning to the others. She wondered why Celeste had left so suddenly but put it on the back burner for now. Jean could check in with her telepathically later if she needed to.
< Looks like the girls were able to resist Remy’s offer, > Jean’s voice sounded lightly in Scott’s mind. Their mental rapport definitely came in handy, seeing as only they would hear their conversations. < But they aren’t very happy with Ash at the moment. > Jean clued Scott in on the mental on-goings between her and the girls, keeping him up to date. If she let him go long enough he would probably lock himself in his office for days on end, unaware of anything else but bills, budgeting, and the occasional trip to the bathroom. Taking a sip of her coffee Jean asked him, < Do you think Ash needs a lighter workload? > The younger mutant didn’t look very happy when she left to grade papers.

Scott felt bad. Ash had been standing in his substantial blind spot and he hadn't even noticed her until she's spoken. Well, until she's sniped at Remy, a pastime he wasn't about to criticize, especially after Gambit's quip about how'd they slept. He nodded to both Ash and Remy as the exited the kitchen for their respective destinations.
An early more Danger Room session didn't bother him. The X-Men were in a dangerous business and they needed to stay in top condition. But he didn't have time to join them. He'd be lucky to get his coffee drank before he had to hurry off to his targeting class.
< Looks like the girls were able to resist Remy’s offer, > Jean joked to him. His wife found Gambit amusing, which only made Cyclops like him less.
Scott snorted mentally as he took another drink of coffee. < That's because we raised them to be smarter than that, > he replied, watching Celeste leave by herself with no explanation. It seemed odd, but Jean had more concerns and he was quickly distracted from that line of thought.
< But they aren’t very happy with Ash at the moment. Do you think Ash needs a lighter workload? > Jean seemed equally concerned with both their girls and the young teacher.
Scott shrugged. < We all need a lighter workload, honey, > he reminded her. < I'll try and hire some more teachers, but you know how careful we have to be about who we let in. > They hire someone completely loyal to Magneto's regime and they got wind of what the teachers at Xavier's really were doing and they were dead. Magneto's dearest deceased friend's former students or not, if they were found out, they would all disappear and never be heard from again.
A glance at the clock told Cyclops he needed to hurry. He grabbed his clothes from where Jean had hung them and stopped next to her, brushing his lips across hers for the briefest of kisses. "I've got to get to class," he said. "I'll see you later." < In my office, > he added teasingly through the link.
Sobering, he nodded towards the four remaining girls. "Have good morning, girls," he said. "I'll see you in calculus class later." Swinging the clothing over his shoulder, Cyclops headed out of the kitchen.

< Did she say something to you? I don’t think Alicia meant to hurt your feelings if she did. She isn’t aware of the extent of your capabilities. >
<"We guess you are right Ms. Grey."> the girls told her psychically.
They continued to eat their breakfast as Mr. Gambit left first, promising to take them on a Danger Room session later. Then Ms. Ash left as well, commenting on that fact that she need to finish grading papers...
Mr. Cyclops, grabbed his clothes from where Ms. Grey had left them and placed a smooth kiss on her lips. The girls always loved when they were affectionate in front of them. It made them feel like they were watching their parents, showing each other their feelings.
"Have good morning, girls, I'll see you in calculus class later." he said as he left.
Esme spoke up next, "You know perhaps we could show Ms. Ash all we have learned in hand to hand combat. I am sure that will change her mind."
The others giggled at the thought, they knew that would be a mean thing. After all they were quite experienced in hand to hand fights, thanks in large part to Mr. Summers coachings.
