Storm led Callisto through the halls down to the Danger Room in a stilted silence. Callisto had absolutely no idea what she should say to the other woman. There was too much history and tension. She almost forgot to complain as she got changed into one of the hideous, flimy, useless X-men training uniforms that Betsy had forced her into before, only remembering at the last second. Even that was awkward. God, even lovers quarrels were better than this.
It was with a great deal of relief that she got into the Danger Room, the same setting Betsy had used previously reappearing with all the damage from Callisto's previous romp repaired. How incredibly convenient. Her first holographic opponent manifested and Callisto stared. Was Ororo mad? She must have been. The woman was claiming revenge (although it was quite clearly Callisto who should be the vengeful one) by making her fight these? It was completely ridiculous. She didn't even know what they were. There were four of them, one purple, one red, one bright green and one yellow, all with strange patches on their stomachs and bizarre appendages sticking out of their heads. They almost looked familiar from somewhere but for the life of her, Callisto couldn't place where. Wasn't sure she wanted to know where something so disturbing could come from.
Making strange, high pitched noises as a form of communication, the four began to circle here and Callisto could only stare in horror. What in the name of all that was holy were they?

Kitty strode into the observation deck for the danger room. Calisto was having a nice little duel that had been going on for some time. Kitty waved to Storm who cut off the holograms. Kitty smiled and grabbed a mike that led into the danger room. "Callisto, hi, my name is Kitty and I was just wondering if we could talk, since you have been going a while I assume you would appreciate a rest?" Kitty prayed it would be taken as friendly, prayed that Callisto would just come up all ready to talk, but maybe she was being to optomistic.

Callisto watched as the strangely colored monsters circled her but there seemed to be a glitch in the computer. It was obvious when they started to skip like a DVD. Soon they were gone.
"Callisto, hi, my name is Kitty and I was just wondering if we could talk, since you have been going a while I assume you would appreciate a rest?" The voice called out over some speakers that were cleverly hidden in the danger room. A rest? I haven't even started yet," she thought to herself. Leaving the room, Callisto entered the control room.
"What is it?" she asked the both of them. Callisto didn't really have the time for some simple pep talk, if that's what they were up to.

Kitty stepped forward. "I just wanted to meet you. You see I've heard people talking and they said you were in the danger room so I thought I'd drop by. Also, well, I didn't want to take everything they said at face value. It seemed like some of them had grudges against yourself. I'm sorry if I was interrupting, I didn't mean too." Kitty hoped that hadn't sounded like babbling and she also hoped htat Callisto might, possibly, be appreciative of a warm reception compared to what she had heard.

She just glared back for a few seconds while her speech was over and sunk into her memory.
"Are you serious?" Callisto asked. She was interrupted for small talk? She didn't even get started yet. "There is a time and place for introductions. Interrupting my work out for it is not one of them. You haven't even given me a name to despise yet."

Kitty frowned, ok not the smoothest move she had ever made but really hanging out with Rogue was not a good idea right now, Jospeh had told her he was fine and obviously wanted to be alone, and now she wasn't in the mood for a movie.
"Ok, first I have given you my name, Kitty, if you would rather Katherine. Second, I thought I would give you a chance to not be labeled b!#(h by at least me, but since that's how you feel I could leave you alone, but third. I thought I'd give you a heads up that we might be spending a little more time together, that's all." Kitty watied to see Callisto's reaction to this, she doubted that she could do anything that could hurt Kitty so she wasn't really concerned about ticking her off now that Callisto had ticked off Kitty.

There was obvious annoyance in her voice and Callisto wanted nothing more than to reach for her throat and strangle her. What was really stopping her? She didn’t know but she held off anyways.
“That’s it? You came to tell me something I already know?” Callisto asked confused. “Do you have any useful information for me or am I talking to a brick wall?”

Kitty just looked at Callisto. "Do I look like a brick wall? I have actually talked so obviously I'm not in that respect, but if you want any information that I don't know, well I can't give it to you." Kitty didn't walk away no matter how much she wanted to. Instead she just continued.
"I thought you might appreciate that, I also now recommend that maybe, since you are spending more time with us, you might just try to rearrange your attitude." Kitty propped her hands up on her hips. This was not fun, and on top of the instance in the conrol room this was grating on her nerves.
