Rogue landed and looked at her watch. She'd made good time. Not easy, considering the two voices that were having a shouting match inside her mind. But once she'd gotten to Genosha, the brotherhood was easy to locate. She pounded on the door, shouting.
"Magneto! Ah know you're in there! You open this door right now, before Ah pound it down mahself!"
Given what information about Magneto she had just recieved from Mary's memories, she was fully prepared to fight her way in, despite how tired she knew she would be in a few hours.

The sound of Rogue's fist pounding on the main blast door reverberated around the room. Magneto had been listening on and off to the bug planted in Rogue's necklace, and so this visit was not entirely unexpected.
"Magneto! Ah know you're in there! You open this door right now, before Ah pound it down mahself!"
He decided to be a gentleman and not keep the lady waiting. He pressed a few buttons on a nearby control panel, and the large metal door retracted upwards.
"Rogue, what a pleasant surprise. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

She walked in, Gambit still slung over her shoulder. Depositing him gently on a bench, she approached the older man and shoved her finger in his face.
"Ah know what you did in Antarctica. And Ah know that you know how to get rid of that green thing. Ah saw you do it in her memories. Now she's inside Gambit and Ah need you to get rid of her. Ah don't care what you do with her afterwards. And Ah know that you don't care about me or Gambit, but Ah think that even though you ain't the nicest man t' walk the earth, ya do have a heart in there somewhere."
She looked around and noticed that the base seemed somewhat deserted. Remebering suddenly the time that she'd spent with Magneto before he started up again with the whole kill the humans thing, she realized that he might see her coming to him for help as her trying to rekindle their relationship, so she added "And Ah'll kick your ass three ways t' Sunday if you don't help him."

Magneto looked at the limp figure on the metal bench with interest. He wasn't keen on rushing into this situation, not with the trouble that this possessive mutant cause the last time that they met. Still, deep down Magneto still cared a little bit for Rouge. He didn't want to betray this to her, so he kept a cold and harsh exterior. He let out a slight chuckle, the delight on his face very apparent.
"Quite an interesting sight this is, one of the X-Men pleading for my help."
His face suddendly adopted a much more cruel and serious expression.
"I will only consider this if I find that I have something to gain from helping you. What do you think you could offer me?"

She resisted the urge to tell him that she would offer to not kill him. Instead, she took a deep breath and looked at Remy's still unconscious form. What would she give to save him? She looked up at Magneto, the anger at his question clear in her eyes.
"Anything."
Before either of them could say anything else, a nearby door creaked open.
"You sendin' in reinforcements already, Jo--Magneto?"
She crossed to the door and pulled it open, coming face to face with a young, scraggly man.

Tom and Theresa carried Exodus until they found themselves here. Tom knew immediately this wasn't someone's house. It looked more like a fort. "This it, lad?" Tom asked the very drunk man leaning on him.

Exodus looked up at the Brotherhood's Base. It all became much clearer from when he first saw it down the path. He tried to gain his balance to try to, at least, get inside but he failed miserably and started to stumble again.
"Drop me inside those doors and I will be fine," Exodus said. He wasn't sure how to get rid of Fat Tom, the soft pillow can stay, though.

As he stumbled out of her arms, Theresa gave a sigh of relief. She would have to rethink about helping someone who so much larger then her next time. Reaching for the door he was trying in vain to open, Theresa opened it and watched him stumble inside. The place was a huge fortress, worse then Cassidy Keep was and there was no way she was following him in there.
Turning back to Tom, she asked, “Now, where are ye staying? I'm tired and still have to go get my suitcase back.”

Tom was glad to be rid of Exodus. Unfortunately, this meant his talk with Theresa was now that much closer. "I just got in, so no place yet. We can take yer luggage to my yacht. It's in tha bay."
Tom once again wrapped his arms around Theresa. He wasn't sure how she would take the news of his absense, so he wanted to savor this moment. "I've missed ya so much, Theresa."

Theresa let herself be pulled back into Tom's arms, just glad that he was ok after all the time that had passed. There was more then one occasion when she wondered if he was still alive. Then she thought about what he said and replied, “Yuir yacht? Since when do ya own a yacht?”<br> Theresa had this sinking feeling that whatever it was Uncle Tom wanted to talk to her about, she wasn't going to like it. He was procrastinating and that wasn't like him at all. Pulling away from him, she grabbed his hand like she used to do as a child and walked back to where her suitcase was. He would have to lead them to this yacht he talked about.

As soon as the soft pillow and Fat Tom let him go, Exodus regained some balance. With the wall for support, he carefully and slowly moved along. But he didn't get far. He collapsed onto the ground. Even trying to crawl was too difficult so instead of losing much needed energy, he passed out on the floor.

Exodus started to stir as he lifted his to see where he was. The world had stopped spinning for him and he was now much more sober than he was the night before. The events that happened were lost in his memory. The only think he could remember was two phrases: Fat Tom and soft pillow. The last thing he remembered was drinking that liquid the mystery stranger had given him.
Getting up to a standing position was a tough thing to do. His head was beating along with his heart. The pulsing in his brain was aggravating but it wasn't too terribly bad. It only angered him.
Exodus stepped outside and focused his mind on trying to locate this stranger, if he was still on the island. This Fat Tom has some answers I need, Exodus said referring to the mystery liquid and his own memories.

Exodus' patience was wearing thin. Fat Tom couldn't be found at least not at this distance. His mind was not fully capable of handling such pressure.
Exodus walked out more and onto the path. Hopefully he could find the same spot he had found the night before and better trace the path of this Fat Tom.

As they came near the entrance they had left the man at the night before, Theresa caught a whiff of some obnoxious odor. Putting her hand to her nose, she said, “Oh, God, it smells like someone is cooking their dinner with too much grease. That is rancid.”
Walking away from Tom, she wandered over to the side of the building and looked around. Spotting smoke a short distance away, she walked back to Tom and said, “Well, someone has to be home. There's their bonfire.”
She looked back at the building again, taking in its size. The thing wasn't huge so much as almost oppressive looking. She had a feeling that whatever went on in there wasn't something she was familiar with. She just hoped that Tom knew what he was doing. After this, she was really going to have to talk him into buying her a swimming suit and taking her to the beach.

Tom sniffed the air, grimacing as the odor filled his nose. He shuddered and pulled a handkerchief from his pocket. Coving his nose, Tom said "Tha's horrid."
Well, someone has to be home. There's their bonfire. Theresa said. Tom looked back to Theresa with narrowed eyes. He wanted her to stay close, just in case. "Only One way to find out." He gently tossed his cane straight up into the air and caught it by the bottom. He then banged it against the door, making a hollow "bong" sound that seemed to carry across area.
