I would like to take this opportunity to answer 's query in another thread. Mystique is, indeed, bisexual. If you think about it, it is not all too surprising, given the nature of her powers and the fact that she's been both a man and a woman. It has been rumored for some time that her relationship with Irene Adler, aka Destiny, was more than just a frendship, and somewhat recently, it was confirmed in the comics. I'd look for a scan, but I'm not at my home computer and this one is pretty dang slow. Also, given the fact that Rogue was raised by both women, there was really not much question about it. And no, Nightcrawler, this is not just the way that she is being played. It's how she is. hope that was entertaining as well as informative.

Wait a minute! So are you saying Rogue is too?

yes, Rogue, who has a boyfriend, is gay.
Just because someone is raised by homosexuals, it does not make them homosexual as well. What I was saying is that Rogue had two mommies.

technically she was not raised by two homosexuals, one was bisexual, and we don't know if the other batted for both teams or just the other.

LOL! Sorry Rogue! I was confued by ur post. U made it sound liek Rogue was raised by homo's so she is a homo. Just because she has a boyfriend doesn't mean she aint bi!

using the term "homo" like that carries a bit of a derogatory connotation. much like f@g or the like. just pointing that out.

I know, moss, i was just trying to simplify the statement as best I could.
And as for Rogue's sexuality, it's possible that she is bi, but then again, anything is possible until Marvel assures us otherwise.

I would heartily assume Rogue is bi. I mean how many male personalities has she assimilated over the years?

Excellent point. In fact, I'm going to have to agree with you on that one.

Nah, I would have to disagree. She just aint like that. Jean has read and even absorbed the personalities of people, same with Professor X and they arent bi. The person who made Mystique bi was probably bi themselves and wanted to add a little flare to the world of Marvel. Just becuase she has assimilated someones personality doesn't mean that she will become or even think like them in the long run. She absorbed Gambit's powers and etc. but she aint hitting on other women. Just my opinion.

Yeahs I somewhat agree, they most likely were bi or homosexual or something but considering like everyone is straight(ex. Jean and Cylops, Emma and any man, Wolverine and the marvel women!) but they might have had to just do it for some reason... Also i have heard about Northstar being homosexual is that true?

I read somewhere that he was, and on a bio site I read something about a few characters being gay. Not sure who though.

Yes, Northstar is homosexual. He was the first "out" character in the comics.
