After depositing the pathetic man's corpse off in the woods, he turned to face the stranger who walked in on his excercise.
"That depends on who's requesting," Exodus answered. The man's accent was unfamiliar but he underdstood it. "Do I know you stranger?" Exodus asked, even though he knew the answer. There was very little that he didn't remember. And what information he needed could easily be taken without asking.

"No, guys like us tend to stick out. If we had met before, you'd remember me." Tom said, still smiling. He sauntered over and leaned against the tree that Exodus had pinned the civilian to. He still wasn't sure if he wanted a fight or a cup of coffee. Just some......entertainment.

"If I had met you before, you would already be dead," Exodus repled. The intrusion of his "work out" was stored in his memory banks.
He turned to walk back towards the Brotherhood Headquarters but he kept a a pychic probe on the stranger. Even though he had his back turned, he would know where he was.
"If you we a few minutes earlier, you would have been dead as well."

Exodus's ego both angered and excited Tom. He calmy placed his bare hand on the tree he was leaning on. With tree's surrounding both of them, Exodus was essientially in a microwave with Black Tom's finger on the start button. "Is that so, Lad?" he called out to Exodus.

Exodus stopped suddenly when he felt the aggressive tone in the stranger's voice. He was a mutant, otherwise he would've turned his tail and ran.
"Do you doubt me, stranger?" Exodus asked. His training had been a complete disappointment and he could've used a better workout. "Care to try me?"

He definately had this mutant's full attention now, which was just how he liked it. A smile came over Tom's face again. Still, he was just toying with Exodus....for now. "I'm not sure. It's either this or a trip to the local pub. Do they have good whiskey on Genosha?" He asked, smiling defiantly at Exodus.

Exodus was confused. What is this whiskey, this man speaks about? Exodus thought quickly. This stranger still wanted a fight, he could sense it. Exodus wanted the same. This stranger came out of nowhere just to interrupt his training but this whiskey was a complete mystery to him.
"Whiskey, you say?" Exodus asked curiously. beating this stranger will have to wait until this mystery of whiskey is solved. "Show me more of this whiskey, you speak of."

This was not the reaction Tom expected. He wanted a workout. But then the gears in his head began to turn. The smile returned to his face as he thought about watching this odd and powerful man get drunk.
"Whiskey is a drink lad." He said as he reached inside his coat and pulled out a small bottle of Lockes Irish Whiskey. He tossed the bottle to Exodus. "Thats all I have on me but there's got to be bar on this island some where."

Exodus caught the slim bottle and studied it. The glass was oddly dimmed and the fluid it contained wasn't of a desirable color. He twisted the cap off and smelled it. The stench burned his nostrils but Exodus didn't flinch or let it be known that he didn't enjoy the odor.
Finally holding back his misgivings about the substance and poured the liquid into his mouth. After the fourth gulp it started to burn the back of Exodus' throat. Once the burn started, he stopped pouring. He couldn't hold back his dislike of the foul tasting liquid. Exodus closed his eyes and held his breath, veins popped out of his neck.
With the burn finally gone, Exodus tossed the now empty bottle back to the stranger.
"What is so great about that foul liquid?" Exodus asked wiping away some of the whiskey from his lips.

Awe, the look on someone's face when taking their first sip of alcohol. It was a priceless sight. This powerful man obviously doesn't like to appear as weak, yet he's broken by a few swallows of Whiskey. The sight of it gave Tom a twisted sense of fulfillment. "The fun part starts in a few minutes. It's your first time so it shouldn't take long."

"You mean that foul substance has purpose?" Exodus asked confused. The taste in his mouth didn't leave. It was horrible.
It was then that the image of the stranger started to blur. Exodus blinked twice but the image remained unclear. He reached out with his telepathy but couldn't concentrate on holding the stranger's psyche.
"Who are you?" Exodus asked finally. The question was short, but it served a purpose. Who was this stranger that has successfully drugged him? He needed to get back to the base. Exodus decided to get moving back towards the base. If the stranger followed then some of the other members could take care of him. But for right now Exodus wasn't feeling too good.

Black Tom held back his laughter as Exodus started blinking. Entertainment is what he wanted and he got it. Exodus began to walk away but continued to ask questions, damn dumb idea. But he was drunk, who could blame him? "The name's Black Tom Cassidy, lad. Who might you be?" He said while following Exodus.

Exodus vaguely heard the answer to his questions as he stumbled back towards the base along the path. His footsteps were widespread but he couldn't help it. The world was swirling and he couldn't stop it.
The last he heard the man say was his name was Fat Tom? The man was not fat. It might have been a nickname from a friend of his. His question back was the same as his own question.
As soon as Exodus went to answer he tripped, with his wide spread stride, falling face first into the dirt. He slowly picked himself up to look back at what he tripped on. A twig. A solitary twig. A small stick had been the one to take down Exodus. With his anger fueled, Exodus let out two shots, one from each eye and incinerated the lousy branch. He then fell back onto his back and stared up at the blurry stars.

As it goes sometimes, snickers turn into chuckles, chuckles turn into laughter and laughter turns into hysterics. This was Black Tom's case. He was beside Exodus, on his hands and knees, laughing so hard that he was out of breath. After maybe a minute, he finally composed himself enough to stand. "Just sleep it off, lad. I'll be on my way now." Tom said as he began walking down the path he was already on.

Fat Tom's laughter aggravated Exodus. He rolled over onto his stomach and watched as the man walked off. Getting back to his feet, Exodus continued to stumble after him.
"I am not through," Exodus started but paused to catch his balance. "...with you, Fat Tom," Exodus finally finished his sentence as he once again fell straight forward. This time he quickly shot up into another walking position. He wasn't gaining any ground on this stranger that poisoned him, though.
"You wanted to..." Exodus was cut off by a sharp fall, harder than the previous ones. The stone that disrupted his walk was no bigger than his big toe, but it did its job. This fall sent the man tumbling into a tuck and roll, smashing his head on a similar rock. A small cut appeared over his right eyebrow as he finally stopped rolling. He stopped on his back as his cape was draped over his face and most of his upper body.
