Sabastian smiled as Madame worked, she had the most interesting way of getting someone almost 'scared' of her and then welcoming them back with open arms. He remembered when he first joined the hellions. She had said almost the exact same thing to him, and truth be told, he had benifited from it. She was good to her word, and even became a sort of mentor. What he had learned from her he never would have been able to come upon himself, and the missions she sent them on were things he looked foreward to. To be able to use his power doing something of substantial. He looked at this Jonathan wondering what the boy would do. He'd never known anyone to not accept Madame's proposal, but then he'd not really seen her ask anyone else. It was always a possibility. And if anyone was likely to not accept, he figured it be this boy.

Sharon sipped her water quietly as Emma talked. She'd heard this particular sales pitch a few times already. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Usually, it did. Really, someone would have to be crazy not to accept. She looked around the apartment that had become as much her home as her own dorm room. This was as good as it got. It was a huge step from living on the street to living in a place like that, and there wasn't a day that went by that Sharon wasn't grateful to Emma for it.

Jonathon could feel the other twos approval of this woman, and her tactics. It was slightly ennerving to be looking into this womans eyes for more than just a nano second. He had never done that before. How, why, should I?
He didn't take the water. He had eaten enough snow that he was fine. "what if I don't accept?" He was stalling and she probably knew it, he just had to have time to think, not much just some. "will you blow me into a millione little pieces if I don't?"

Since he completely ignored the water, she walked back to the table and set it down. Looking back at him, she replied, “A mutant blown into a million pieces is a waste. I want you completely whole, Jonathon. I will not force you into staying. Why would you want to? You obviously have a very nice home of your own, fresh, hot food on your table whenever you are hungry. A hot shower at your disposal at any given time and a soft bed piled with as many blankets as you can want.” Most every word was dripping with sarcasm.
“I can provide everything you need or want, however, you can leave if you wish. I am not going to stop you,” she said as she motioned for Sabastian to walk away from the door. The motioning was obvious, meant to show Jonathon that she was not going to hurt him. “Just don't expect to remember anything about our conversation, my school or my students if you leave. You will go right back outside to the life you were living.”

Jonathon thought about it, back to the way he was living. Looking out the window he saw the snow, the cold, the pain. she's manipulating me. He knew it, and he didn't care, not now.
Looking back at the woman he studied her now with the knowledge of how she worked. cold, ice cold, and probably as hard to work with as anyone.
"Fine, I'll give it a try, couldn't hurt."

When Madame motioned, Sabastian left his spot in front of the door and walked a few paces out of the way, leaving a clear opening for the boy. Silently he was thinking that if the boy refused, This Johnathan was a fool. Because only a fool would refuse an offer like that in his condition, unless he knew the person offering it was an enemy. Which Madame was not. When the boy accepted he let a small smile rest on his lips. He wasn't sure how the boy would feel toward himself... after all he had gotten the boy into all this. But he was sure that under Madames rule, the boy would learn to work with Sabastian. He'd have to.

She looked the Snake boy over a few times. He might be okay, but she didn't like the idea of someone who tried to sneak into the school living near her. Still, if Emma thought it was alright, it was probably fine. She put her water down on a table and approached Emma.
"Teacher, want me to show him a room?" Her words were slow and deliberate, as she was still trying to get used to speaking.

Emma smiled at Sharon and replied, "That would be lovely, Sharon. Please make sure you also point out where the bathroom is so that our newest housemate can get cleaned up. The guest toiletries should be in the closet."
She walked back to Ear and looked him up and down, then walked around him, taking in his "measurements". "I will have someone bring some clothes for you to wear," she explained. "In the meantime, you can just wear one of the uniforms." She gave him a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes and continued, "Once you are showered and dressed, come back up here for dinner. We will talk more then."
Walking away as if in dismissal, she walked back to the window and looked down to see more of her special students outside playing in the snow. She had just received a new Hellion. Perhaps this Christmas would be magical after all.

Sabastian saw her dismissal look knew it was time to go, He made sure though, asking first before leaving. " Madame, is there anything else you require? Or shall I take my leave?"

"You have done well today, Sabastian. Thank you. You are free to go. You and Sharon both are also welcome to join me for dinner," she said as she smiled. This time the smile did reach her eyes and for a brief moment the ice melted just a tad.
Emma knew that the others would try and make Jonathon feel welcome and if he gave them a hard time, she had ways of dealing with that as well. However, she had sensed a very smart and crafty man beneath all the grime and dirt. Emma was sure her gut instinct about him would pay off.

Sharon nodded and grabbed the new boy's hand, pulling him towards the hallway, and the stairs.
"Let's go. You can sleep in room by Sabastian."
She had spoken too quickly, her words weren't exactly right, but she shrugged it off and led the new boy away.

Jonathon resented being pulled along by the hand, he wasn't a baby. He followed her even though.

Sabastian smiled and bowed to Madame Frost before following the other's out into the hall. It was always nice to recieve a praise from the Madame. Some people thought she was cold and hard to get along with, but Sabastian felt that she grew on you after a while.

As her students left, Emma walked into her office and sat down at her computer. Pulling up her business email, she saw several items that would need her attention in the morning. A priority symbol caught her attention and she raised her right eyebrow at the return email address.
Ahh, Charles, what do you have to say, she thought as she opened the email. A short time later, Emma was frowning. Charles' news had not been good. Not good at all. She would have to think about this and possibly get involved. She sent him a quick reply thanking him for the information and that she would consider some action. He didn't have to know what she was thinking, however.
She noticed the time and decided to begin getting ready for dinner. It should be interesting as Jonathon honestly had no idea what was going on around him.
Slipping into the shower, she wondered just how much experience he had with his mutant ability. It would take some testing to figure out just how far she could push it but Emma had no doubt that he would be very useful for the Hellions on some of the little “missions” she sent them on. The trick would be building up his trust enough so she wouldn't have to be concerned about that when leaving them alone.
Shower done, Emma put on a white cashmere sweater that was rather form fitting. The neckline plunged low and was accentuated with a drop diamond necklace. She put on a long, white skirt that flowed down to her mid-calf and completed the look with high white boots. Her hair brushed straight down her back and a bit of light makeup, Emma was ready for dinner.
She walked into kitchen to see her housekeeper hard at work on dinner and smiled. It was certainly going to be an entertaining evening.

Emma walked into her living room just as the doorbell sounded. Instead of having to interrupt Beatrice, she walked to the door herself and saw one of the staff members from the maintenance department. Handing Emma a box, the man said, “Here's the uniforms you ordered, Ms. Frost. Have a nice day.” With a grin, he walked away but not before Emma got a dose of his disgusting thoughts. She almost reacted to it then thought better. She could hurt him where it really counted. His job.
After the man was out of sight, she closed the door to her apartment and headed down to the students floor.
White Queen exits her apartment and enters the Dorm Hallway
