Sean smiled wider this time as relief washed over him. He released a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. Some one had been expecting him. He grinned at the kind person who had opened the door. He stepped in carrying his suitcase,
"Aye, I am Sean Cassidy, I see Professor Xavier let ye know I was comin' taday? And yuir name is?"

Nice smile, Betsy thought to herself. And an Irishman even.
Replying in her own British accent, she said, “Yes, Charles has this uncanny way of knowing when some things are going to happen. I'm Elisabeth Braddock, or Psylocke when we are in the field.”
Closing the door behind him to keep the cold air outside, she added, “Welcome to Xavier's estate. Now, would you like me to show you to your room, give you a tour or introduce you to the kitchen? Unfortunately, Charles isn't home at the moment or he could be the one showing you around.”

Sean grinned, and replied, "Tis a pleasure ta meet ye, Elisabeth and yes, Charles is a verra interesting man, that's for sure. In the field as ye say, I am called Banshee."
Sean chuckled, remembering Charles' uncanny way of getting him to open his apartment door. He debated for a moment, Food, room. . . hmmmm As he stood there thinking, his stomach made up his mind for him. It growled hungrily, and he laughed,
"Well, I guess, the kitchen may be a wise choice, eh?"

“Banshee?” Betsy asked with a raised eyebrow. Interesting name. You will have to let me know what your abilities are with a name like that.”
She had an idea but as usual, Charles had been vague on information. With the mansion suddenly coming to life with visitors, she wished he were here to help deal with all. Especially since Alex and Callisto both were here for him specifically and refused to talk to anyone else about what they wanted.
Shaking the thoughts away and concentrating on Sean, Betsy smiled and said, “The kitchen it is, then. Right this way, Mr. Cassidy.”

Sean stood at the front door, waiting patiently for Elisabeth to come down. He brushed non existent wrinkles out of his green shirt, which matched his eyes, and did his best to look relaxed. Strangely enough, he wasn't feeling nervous, like he usually did before a date. Maybe it's who I'm taking He thought as he watched and waited.

Betsy walked down the stairs slowly, knowing that Sean was there already. Granted, she had done that on purpose but no one had to know that. A slightly devious smile on her lips, she walked to the front hall and raised an eyebrow. Her smile grew wider as she said, “Hmmm, even more handsome cleaned up. I didn't think it was possible.”
Then, remembering her promise, she closed the distance between them and reached for his face. It was nice and smooth without a hint of the stubble that had been there such a short time ago. Kissing him gently again, she said, “Oh, this is a tough one. I could probably get used to either but I think I'll go with cleanly shaved.”

Sean's smile grew even wider as he saw Elisabeth descend the stairs. He smiled even harder after she kissed him again. He reached out for her hand, and lightly kissed it. Then he reached for her arm, doing a passably british accent,
"Shall we, my lady? The evening awaits."

Betsy enjoyed his reaction to her kiss then laughed when he took her hand and kissed it, adding a bit of British to his already strong accent. Taking her coat out of the closet, she slipped it on and pulled out a set of keys from the pocket. Pushing two buttons on the key chain, she replied with, “Since I know my way around town, I'll drive.” Linking her arm through his, she led him out the door, to the garage and soon they were on the road.

Sean stepped out of the mustang almost reluctantly. He walked over to Elisabeth, holding out an arm.
"Let me walk ye to yuir room? I could nae call meself a gentleman with out walking a lady to her door." He grinned impishly at her.

As they walked into the front hall, Betsy took off her damp coat and hung it up in the massive closet in the hallway. Setting it away from the others so it would dry, she closed the doors then took the blankets from Sean. Throwing them down a small door near the bottom of the stairway, she knew they would get washed and put back in her room. Someone always managed to do the laundry around that place.
"Let me walk ye to yuir room? I could nae call meself a gentleman with out walking a lady to her door,” he asked her with a grin she was beginning to recognize.
Smiling and taking his arm, she replied with a raised eyebrow, “Of course. Do you remember which one it is?”

Sean grinned at Elisabeth, chuckling a little at her question.
"Yes, I remember where yuir room is. I dinnae have Alzheimer's just yet. At least, I don't think so. What were we talking about?"
He walked with Elisabeth upstairs, enjoying her arm in his.

Sean came downstairs, seeing no one around. Odd, this place is verra quiet. Must be too early for the kids ta be up. Searching the area, he quickly found a shovel. He headed out to the back, intent on finding the rink and taking care of business.

Betsy had stopped in Professor Xavier's office long enough to retrieve the envelope with Ash's name on it. The girl had been surprised at Charles' generosity but it was common for him to do something like this. Especially for the students that didn't have anything.
Walking to the closet to get her finally dried black coat, Betsy sensed Sean and Kitty in the rec room. She gently sent a telepathic message to him, not wanting to explain this in front of Kitty. <Sean, I need to talk to you. I'm by the front door.>
Having done that, Betsy turned on her car by remote start and opened the garage door too keep from the fumes overcoming them when the walked out there. Pulling on her black leather gloves, she waited for either Sean or Ash to appear.

Sean walked up to Elisabeth in the garage. He wondered why she didn't just come find him. Ach, women With a mischevious smirk on his face, he called out,
"Hello, nurse!" from a cartoon he'd seen way too much of.
"So, what's the plan, Elisabeth? Some shopping, me room's a bit bare, and maybe ye could help decorate it? Maybe a snowball fight, I liked how our last one ended." Giving her his infamous leer, he winked at her and gave her a nice hello kiss on the cheek.

Betsy couldn't help but laugh at Sean's enthusiasm, especially his offer to let her “help” him decorate his room. Her laughter died when he kissed her on the cheek and she sighed softly.
Taking his bare hand in her gloved one, she said, “Somethings come up. I am finally making progress with Ash and she actually wants to venture out in public today. This is a huge step for her. I am not sure how familiar you were with the Paul Martin Containment Facility break out a few months ago. Ash was one of the mutants that was being held prisoner there and she's been through hell and back. It was a miracle I talked her into coming back here with us at that time.”
Taking a deep breath, she continued, “Now, she is coming out of the protective shell she has built around herself and I am so proud of her. I can't let this opportunity pass either one of us by. I don't believe she would be comfortable with you coming along, though. She is very leery of strangers and I am just afraid this may halt our progress.” Licking her lips, she said, “I think you should stay here and I'll get the skates and bring them home. I'm very sorry and I promise to make it up to you.”
That was hard to do but she knew that where Ash was concerned, it was the best decision. And she really would make it up to Sean, somehow.
