The brotherhood medical lab was very similar to the medical lab in the X-Men headquarters, since Magneto helped Xavier build it. There are two stainless steel examining tables, various x-ray and magnetic imaging machines and a large cupboard filled with serums and medical supplies.

Magneto walked in carrying Exodus in his arms, and set him down on the table. He fed a IV drip into his arm and hooked him up to a monitor, knowing that not much could be done until he woke up.

Exodus didn't feel anything. His body had been numb for longer than he could remember. He couldn't hear, speak or see. He lied on the stainless steel examining table. His telepathy worked on and off for him since he'd been in this state. Exodus pushed it as hard as he could to find anyone in the room but found no one.
He had given up hope for so long. He had no idea how to wake up on his own.

Magneto walked into the med lab to check up on Exodus' condition. He saw he was stable, and he was about to leave the room when spotted Exodus' finger twitching out of the corner of his eye. He decided that he should perform an MRI scan on him just to check up on his brain activity.
He picked up Exodus and put him onto the sliding bed for the PET imaging device. After pushing a few buttons on the device, the bed slid in to the large cavity and images started appearing on the screen.
To Magneto's surprise, the images were showing quite a bit of higher brain activity, bar the visual and auditory cortexes. Exodus could think but he couldn't see, hear or feel anything.
Magneto slid the bed out of the PET machine and decided he would make an attempt to wake him up himself. He held his hand over Exodus' head using his powers to subtlely manipulate the bloodflow in Exodus' brain, hoping to rouse him out of his coma...

His head started to feel warm and heavy, something he had not felt in centuries. Slowly opening his eyes, the bright lights of the room blinded him. His body wouldn't move when he told it to. The room was bright and he couldn't see. Pain started to fill the numbness of his body, like a thousand needles poking him everywhere all at once. He willed himself to roll over to try to stand but ended up flat on his face with a vicious thump.
He waited for his blood to return to its normal flow throughout his body. His vision started to return as the room took shape. The man who woke him still standing over the table where he once layed.
"Who are you," he asked still weakened from the state he was in for centuries.

Magneto watched as Exodus made an attempt to get up, only to land face down on the floor with a painful sounding thump.
"Who are you,"
"I am Magneto and you are in my headquarters, home of the Brotherhood of mutants. Who might you be?"

"My name...," Exodus started, still feeling weakened. He paused momentarily to gain enough strength to finish his sentence. "...is Exodus." His strength was returning to him very slowly. He pushed back his powers to try to relish in the energy that was returning very slowly. The urge to hug this man was repressed as to not seem overly excited to start his life over. The brotherhood of mutants?
"What is this brotherhood?" Exodus asked. "And what are mutants?" He felt stupid asking such a question. This world is new to him and he wondered how long he had been under suspended animation. At the same time he knew he owed this man his life and he would make sure to repay him for his generosity.
Exodus reached up to the table to try to get to a standing position. The pain in his body subsided as the blood flow was regular in his body. Where exactly am I? he thought as he took another look around the room.

"What is this brotherhood?...And what are mutants?"
Magneto was slightly taken aback, he had never met anyone who hadn't heard about mutants. Either this person had been living under a rock their whole lives...or they had been in suspended animation for much longer than Magneto initially thought.
"Tell me...where are you from and what year were you born?"

"I am born in 1122 A.D. The crusades were in progress and I was being trained to be a knight," Exodus stopped as he the memories, which seemed so long ago returned to him. His weakened state seemed to be the last of his problems. "How long ago was that?"

"I am born in 1122 A.D...How long ago was that?"
Magneto raised an eyebrow, he had certainly not expected him to be this old.
"Well it looks like that you've travelled, for lack of a better word, about 900 years into the future. This would certainly explain why you don't know about mutants."
Magneto extended his hand, and a metal seat slid right behind Exodus.
"You had better sit down, I have much to explain to you about our current time."

The sound of the chair screeching across the metal floor hurt Exodus' ears but he didn't cringe. He watched it slide but there was no one pushing it. He wondered if this man, Magneto, had telekinesis like he did.
"You had better sit down, I have much to explain to you about our current time," Magneto said as the chair drew closer to him. Exodus took the seat and listened to Magneto's explanation.

Magneto paced the room, trying to think up of the best way to go over the advancements of almost a millennium in such a short time. After a bit of though, he stopped and proceeded with his explanation.
"Let's see, you lived in the 13th century during the crusades. Let's start off with medical advancements from that time..."
Over the next few hours, Magneto proceeded to very briefly explain the advancements of the human race and to teach Exodus about concepts such as technology, electricity, the theory or relativity, genetics, and of course mutation. He knew that he had to ease him into the separation of Church and State and the more liberal attitudes of people these days.
"...and then we get to our time. The humans fear us, they are waging a war against us. A war that we must win at all costs. I know this is alot to take in young one, I'll leave you to yourself to sift through things for a while."
Magneto proceeded to exit the med lab.

Exodus took in all the information given to him. It was a lot to take in at once. He sat there gazing at some random object, pondering all that he's missed. After a little while, he finally stood from the chair and looked around the room for his clothes that he wore when Apocalypse put into suspended animation. He found them near the bed that was laying in. Exodus wore a a blue body suit, a white cape and gold wings on his back. After he was fully dressed, he exited the room to explore the base.
