Upon entering the suite, one finds themselves in what appears to be a waiting room. There are three couches in the room and a few chairs, as well as a table. The room is often used for briefings. Two doors lead off of the room, one to the security monitoring room and the other to her formal office.
In the office, a computer sits on top of a well-crafted metal desk (a gift from Magneto), file cabinets with excessive amounts of security features line one wall. There are two doors in the room that lead to other areas of the suite. One leads to Mystique's living quarters, the other is a back door to the security room.
The security room is little more than a glorified walk-in closet. Video monitors line one wall, filling in the space from just above the control panels to the ceiling. The cameras are targeted at all of the public areas (including lockerrooms) of the facility, there are only about two blind spots in the entire building. These cameras are almost always manned by rotating teams of three low-level soldiers, one of which is always a telepath. Each of the soldiers who volunteers for this post is trying to get on her good side and hopefully be asked to join the Red Guard. They never succeed.
Her bedroom is fairly large and always kept neat. A double bed sits in the middle of the room, a couch under the window and a (rarely used) dresser against the wall. A bathroom is located to the left of the bed, as is a heavily locked, very large closet which holds her weapons and other valuables.

She walked through the suite, pausing briefly at her office door to provide a retinal scan. Smirking, she twisted the doorknob as the lock clicked open. One of the perks of being who she was was the fact that even with a lock like that, she didn't have to use her own eyes. In fact, she'd programmed it to the eyes of Charles Xavier, a long-dead man. The chances of someone getting in were slim to none. Even another shapeshifter would have to guess the correct person, and after one false try, an alarm sounded.
Walking through her office to the bedroom, she entered a code and headed directly toward her closet, unlocking it and frowning as she reached into her leg and removed a gun, unloading it and tucking it away in it's case. Sliding the unused ammo into another box, she reached inside her other leg and removed a dagger, sheathing it and placing it back on the rack. A few moments later, she stepped out of the closet and secured it, having morphed into her formal uniform and holstered a pistol. The chances of her needing it were slim to none, especially around the base, but it was nice to have it there just in case.
Exiting her bedroom, she checked in on the security room to make sure that everything was under control, then headed to her desk. There was work to be done.

She had cranked out a few form letters to people making complaints that they felt the Red Guard should handle, sighing at the stupidity of mankind as a whole. Human, mutant... it didn't matter. Idiots were everywhere. She sealed the letters and slid them into her outbox, leaning back for a moment before getting to the real work.
As she had told Magik, there were a few human groups that were starting to get particularly active. Claiming that they were going to overthrow the government, that they had the necessary supplies and troops to do so. So far, her sources had come back with mixed reports. Some people said that the cells they'd located were incredibly disorganized and underfunded, others were the polar opposite. Thankully, it seemed that the former far outnumbered the latter. At present, it was little more than a nuisance. Still, it was probably a good idea to suggest that Exodus send some lower level troops out to check it. She wasn't about to waste her agents' time with the task.
The phone rang, and she glanced at the called ID. Ah, Lord Magneto, His majesty, savior of the mutant race. She picked up the phone, morphing her voice as she did. "Herro, China Hot Hot. Today special for Ruler of World- General Tso Chicken five dolla."

"Good afternoon Raven," he greeted, trying to fight another chuckle. "I unfortunately have some business with you. Somehow Lorna talked me into taking a weekend holiday somewhere and of course, Exodus will be accompanying us. I have not idea where we are going, I've left it up to them to decide. Perhaps you should come by later and we will hash put the details? Please, bring Kurt and Anna-Marie if they're free. I know work keeps us both well occupied, but it has been far too long since we've spoken in person. Come for supper if you like."
"Oh yes, Lorna said to send you her love," he teased as an after thought. "I believe she misses your company as well."

She twirled a pencil absently in her hand as he spoke. A holiday was a good idea, especially for that group. She knew them all fairly well, and was well aware that they had a tendency to let things pile up, stress, work... And undoubtedly Magneto had a lot of both these days. "That sounds nice. I'll track them down."
She paused. It was still odd, even after ten years, to be talking to Erik knowing that if he had a bad day, he could order a literal army to destroy something. Of course, she would gladly lead her section of said army. But she liked destruction. In moderation, at least. "Oh yes, Lorna said to send you her love," he teased as an after thought. "I believe she misses your company as well."
She smiled. Lorna had always been one of her favorite people. Even though the girl did spend most of her time when she was younger begging Raven to morph into famous people. Or her dad. Or one of the maids. Or... well, just about anything. "That goes both ways, Erik."
Truth be told, she really did miss spending time with the Lensherrs. Or at least candid time. Lately, what time she did get with them was always under the watchful eye of... well, everyone. Papparazi loved noting that members of the Red Guard were making trips to the palace, speculating on what was going on. It had gotten to the point where she'd had to go in in disguise. Not that she minded that, really. But it did make things seem less casual. Speaking of which... "Care to mention what exactly the House of Magnus will be wearing? I'd hate to show up and not match the color scheme." They'd all arrive in uniform, of course, but it was nice to know whether or not they were expected to remain in uniform.

"Wear what you will, Mystique," Erik assured her. "If you'd like, I can have Exodus teleport you here, so the press doesn't even know you are here."
"How does eight sound?" he asked, continuing their planning. "Will that give enough time to locate your children? If not, I am not opposed to private dinner. I believe Lorna said something about going out with some friends this evening anyway. You company alone suits me just as well."

She shook her head, despite the fact that Erik couldn't see her. "That won't be necessary. I'm sure Bennet has a lot on his plate, what with keeping up with Lorna and all."
She looked at the clock and nodded. "Eight should be fine. I'll see if I can't round up the two of them and get them ready. I'm sure at least one of them will be joining." Even if they didn't want to, one of them was going to be coming along. From what she could tell, the twins were both going to be there, and it was only fair to bring along one of hers as well.
Now, it was just a matter of finding the both of them. Luckily, she had the security center at her disposal. They'd be able to track them down before she ever would on her own. "Eight, then?"

"Just between you and me, Raven, Bennet is in over his head," Erik joked lightly. "And Lorna's had him wrapped about her finger for years. Poor man."
Magnus was silent for a brief moment, the added. "Eight then. See you and hopefully your children then. Good bye."

She laughed as Magneto talked about Exodus. "Lorna is quite good at that."
Then, there was silence. Undoubtedly, he was thinking about Anne. He lapsed into silence a few times, but there was a certain reverence that she could feel, even over the phone. She liked Magneto, but she could not stand it when he went on worrying about the past. What had happened had happened. Time to move on. "Eight, then?"
"Eight then. See you and hopefully your children then. Good bye." She nodded. "Goodbye, Erik." Hanging up the phone, she stood up and walked the few steps to the security room. Wrenching the door open, she frowned at the guards. "Find Agents Kurt and Anna-Marie Darkholme."
Uh, yes sir. Nightcrawler is in Ag- Northstar's room, with Magik. Rogue is... she flew out the training suite window with Captain Marvel some time ago. Lost track of them.
"Thank you." Stepping back into her room, she frowned. Whatever happened to using the front door and documenting movements? Pressing the button on the intercom, she called to Rogue's comm. device, hoping that she'd at least had the thought to take it with her. "Agent Darkholme, you are to attend a dinner at the palace tonight. Report to my office in full uniform at 1930."
Releasing the button, she headed toward her door, fixing her uniform as she did.

She returned to her office, heading into her bedroom and exchanging her pistol for a few others, all but one concealed. She was going to the palace, not to the stronghold of the human resistance. That made her chuckle. Human resistance. Morphing one of her holsters away, she closed the closet and examined herself in the mirror, adjusting the uniform where necessary. Satisfied, she headed back into her office and waited for her children. If they didn't get there soon, she might have to have Illyana teleport them directly into the palace. Or at least close enough so that Kurt could get them the rest of the way.

Kurt appeared in a swirl of violet, dressed to impeccable perfection in his uniform, his garment bag containing his civvies slung over one shoulder...ten minutes early.
Being a military brat had instilled him with the ability to shower and render himself presentable in an economical time-table. He's worked it into a science. Less then ten minutes at his last count.
"Sorry about that, Mom." He said, readjusting the bag that held his black pants and burgundy silk shirt. "I didn't know it was you."

She skidded to a halt in front of the door, wrenching it open and practically falling in. Once inside, she closed the door and turned around, nearly jumping at the two blue, uniform-clad figures standing in the room. Not that they themselves scared her, but they startled her. Instinctively, she raised her hand to salute, then dropped it before actually finishing the act, glaring at it as if it had moved without her permission. That was a stupid thing to do. She didn't need to salute when it was just the three of them.
"Sorry Ah'm late. Ca- Agent Danvers and Ah were in town, hurried back as fast as we could. Then Ah couldn't find my gun, and... Ah'm here now, though."
She glanced over at Kurt, offering a small smile. He always looked so darn handsome in uniform. Sort of out of place, but adorable nonetheless. Stepping closer to him and farther away from their mother, she advised, "If Lorna tries to pet you, bite her." Catching her mother's glare, she added, "Hard."

She barely flinched as Kurt teleported into the room. Instead, she looked at her clock. Good. At least one of her children had some sense of time. "Sorry about that, Mom. I didn't know it was you." Raising an eyebrow, she bowed her head slightly. Of course, he didn't know it was her. That was the whole point, wasn't it? "I'm just glad I got you before you finished off that bottle." She dropped the subject and looked at the clock a few more times, getting rather irritated with the tardiness of her daughter.
Finally, Rogue decided to show up. "Sorry Ah'm late. Ca- Agent Danvers and Ah were in town, hurried back as fast as we could. Then Ah couldn't find my gun, and..." She sighed. Excuses were a pain in the ass. " Ah'm here now, though." She walked around the desk, moving toward the security center. "Yes. I was able to figure that much out on my own."
Leaning into the security center, she instructed the guards to keep her posted of any big movement. Even as she talked to them, the words being exchanged behind her were not lost. "If Lorna tries to pet you, bite her." She turned, glaring at Rogue. Assaulting a member of the royal family was most definitely not a good idea. "Hard."
Ignoring the second part of the statement, she approached Kurt. "How close can you get us to the gates?"
