Gambit walked down the halls to his office, trying to remember the last time he'd used it. To the best of his knowledge, the answer was never. But the fact remained that he needed to get it ready for his 'interview.' He passed a door with his name on it and backed up. This must be the one.
Inside the room, there were papers strewn all over his desk and some on the floor. His computer was still on with a screen saver rotating pictures of half naked women, and the room faintly smelled like cajun food. So it seemed like he'd been there before, he just couldn't remember it.
Remy set about cleaning up, organizing his desk and making sure his computer wasn’t displaying streaming pornography. He also did a quick check to make sure none of his ‘equipment’ was laying around. With his cleaning done, Remy sat behind his desk and downloaded the internet poker program he had in his room, then began to play. In between hands, he went through all the drawers in his desk. In the bottom left was a bottle of bourbon. Ah, now it all made sense.

She rolled out of bed, rubbing her eyes and glancing at the clock. It was still relatively early in the morning, but after the tour, the time difference had caught up with her and she'd needed to lay down for a bit. Just a couple of hours, though, since she didn't want to miss out on any of the plans that Jean and Betsy might have had. Of course, she'd slept right through the alarm clock, and now it was later than she'd meant for it to be when she finally rolled out of bed. Throwing on her fatigue pants and a tank top and tucking a pair of gloves into one of her pockets, she suddenly wished that she'd had the forethought to bring along some clothes that weren't military issue. No matter. She could always borrow something from Betsy if necessary.
There were a few students in the Rec room, but she didn't see any of the teachers. Frowning, she headed back up toward the bedrooms, noticing a light coming from under one of the office doors. Aha. Turning around, she headed down the hall, stopping at the door and reading the name outside. Remy Le... oh, right. Shit, he hadn't been waiting in there since that afternoon, had he? She'd completely forgotten. Knocing on the door, she turned the knob and poked her head inside. "Hey."
Opening the door further, she stepped inside and frowned. "Ah left the forms upstairs." Ah, well. She could just forge them or something. He looked like he was hard at work... if he was the poker teacher. Gesturing toward one of the chairs in front of his desk, she raised an eyebrow. "You mind?"

Gambit had been playing poker for about an hour or two before getting bored. Deciding the office would be fine, he went to the kitchen then back to his room for the night. Since he didn't think Rogue wanted to see him yet and he wasn't about to sneak off with the Red Guard snooping around, so he decided to do something drastic and get some sleep.
Remy awoke unusually early. Is that what happens when you get enough sleep? If so, he couldn't wait to get back to stealing and tomcatting at night. He went to the kitchen and grabbed some cereal. Being early, the kitchen was actually quiet, and kinda scary without sound of children packing in. He was never getting up this early again.
Instead of going back to his room, Gambit decided to go back to the office. If he was going to use that room, it'd need a little remodeling. There needed to be a wet bar behind his desk, along with one of those big standing glass panes with water flowing down the front. He should probably put up a degree too, to make him look more dignified. He wondered what a Harvard forgery would cost him. Was there enough room for a hot tub?
The ideas just kept flowing, as Remy wrote some notes on what he would like to do. He was integrated though by Rogue knocking on the door and coming in. She looked inside and frowned. Damn, he knew the room was a little square, but what could he do? He hadn't been there until the day before. "Ah left the forms upstairs." Oh, that was it. She seemed unfazed though as she asked for a seat. "Be my guest, Cheri," he replied. "Nah what can I do fuh you?"

"Be my guest, Cheri." She sat down, nodding her head in thanks and looking around the office. It definitely looked like someplace that Scott would feel comfortable. The walls were pretty much bare, and didn't have the kind of feel that she'd thought his office would have. "Nah what can I do fuh you?"
"Hmm?" She looked back at him, having gotten herself a bit lost in the room itself. Oh, right. "Well, Ah was just lookin' around, and it didn't seem like there was a single soul awake yet. Yours was the only light on. Ah'm still on Genosha time, Ah guess."
That hadn't answered his question. What could he do for her? Quite a few possibilities sprang to mind, none of which were suitable for prime time television. Raising an eyebrow and smiling slowly, she pulled the gloves from her pocket and sat them on the desk in front of her. "Well, Ah can think of a few things..."
She trailed off, leaving it open ended. After a moment, a rather important question came to mind. Important for planning out what he could help her with, at least. "You got any classes this morning?"

Rogue took a while to examine the room. It must have been pretty obvious how much use he got out of this room. There was hardly anything on the walls. He only had the basic furniture, a desk and a few chairs. And really, it didn't look like the kind of room he would hang around in. "Hmm? Well, Ah was just lookin' around, and it didn't seem like there was a single soul awake yet. Yours was the only light on. Ah'm still on Genosha time, Ah guess," she finally answered.
"Well, you know what d'ay say about da early bird." Actually, he couldn't think of one good reason to get up early. The mansion was so quiet, it was creepy. The sun was right in his eyes, everywhere he went. Plus, he totally screwed up his internal clock. The damage done today would be felt for weeks as Remy tried to get back on a 'normal' rhythm.
Getting back to his original question, Rogue raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Well, Ah can think of a few things..." Now, their was a look that was familiar. As she pulled her gloves out and laid them on the desk, he smiled back and contemplated pulling out that bottle of bourbon he had. But this wasn't just any conquest, she also had the power to shut down the school and Remy didn't want that. So no drinking on the job this morning. "You got any classes this morning," she asked, the implications obvious. He only had powers training on his schedule today. Those classes didn't start until the afternoon, cause nobody wanted to get all sweaty then go to class. "Non, not foh a few hours. Do your interviews normally last dat long?"

"Well, you know what d'ay say about da early bird." She could tell that he only half meant that, if at all. And she could definitely relate. Most mornings, she was up nice and early for training, but on her days off she slept in until someone physically dragged her out of bed. Or climbed into it, depending. She raised an eyebrow, smiling. "Yeah, that's a load of shit, ain't it? Being up early."
Speaking of which... there was an interview to get scheduled. The conversation shifted toward said "interview," and her smile only widened as he also broke out into a near grin. Good. So they were still on, then. All that remained to be arranged was the timing. It might be a little while before other people got up, but she didn't know when classes started for the day. And so, she asked. Her schedule was free. All she still had to do before she headed back to Genosha was get the interview forms filled out, and she had all day to do those. Only took about ten minutes. Hell, she could even just fill them out herself. No one would know. Or care, really. Not like anyone actually read the reports. Nah, she'd do them, though. She liked to make sure that everything was done right. "Non, not foh a few hours. Do your interviews normally last dat long?"
Chuckling, she leaned back a bit in the seat, bowing her head in his direction. "Well, that tends to depend a good deal on the interviewee."
She stood up, moving around and behind the desk to look out the window. The sun was far too bright for the time of day that it was. Like it was overcompensating for the nighttime. Frowning, she reached up and pulled on the cord, pulling the mini blinds down and adjusting them so that there was still sunlight coming through, just not as abrasively. "Better."
Turning, she leaned against the windowsill, looking down at him. "So. You think you got the time now?"

"Yeah, that's a load of shit, ain't it? Being up early," Rogue quickly replied, making Remy grin. He liked the way this girl thought. “Dat transparent, huh?“ His mind began flashing to old danger room sessions. When they faced off against the Red Guard, Gambit often made a point to fight her. Of course, it had a lot to do with how hot she was. But Marvel and Magik were hot too. No, she was...familiar. Rogue was scrappy, a strong, southern, fun loving girl, like the ones he grew up around. Damn, he missed them.
Remey, being Remy, asked a slightly suggestive question and studied her response. She chuckled a bit and leaned back in her chair. "Well, that tends to depend a good deal on the interviewee." Gambit smirked, watching as she went over to the window and narrowed the blinds. “Mood lightin,” he joked. He knew what she was doing. The sun had been bothering Remy too. It was too low this early in the morning, the window frame didn’t block it out like when he normally got up.
"So. You think you got the time now?" Oh, Remy always has the time for this kind of situation. He had no way of knowing whether or not she was actually thinking what he was thinking. But alone, in a room with Remy Lebeau, she would be soon. “Of course.”

“Dat transparent, huh?" She tilted her head slightly, smiling and shrugging. Transparency wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Unless, of course, they were talking about the miniblinds, which were letting in far too much sunlight. “Mood lightin.” She grinned and waggled her eyebrows jokingly before asking the ever important question. Did he have the time? “Of course.”
Her smile stretched into a grin and she used one of her feet to turn the seat his chair so that he was facing her more. "Great."
She looked at him for a moment, waiting for him to do something. Okay, that was fine. Evidently, he wanted her to take contorl. The uniform. Had to be the uniform. If she thought about it, the uniform really did have an effect on that. If she wore it, things went one way. If she didn't, they went another. Maybe she'd start keeping a log. Write a paper on it, get it published. Fuck, some annoying ass poindexter was thinking for her. Not what she needed. Write a paper? She shook her head. Standing up , she moved closer to him, leaning over and kissing him.
And already, the nerd was fading away. Good thing, too. Or she would have had to kick his little skinny psyche ass. The voices didn't make nearly as many appearances in her head anymore, she'd gotten pretty good at keeping them at bay. And when they did, it was always much more subconscious. And never when she needed them. The nerd, for example. Did he throw in his two cents when she was trying to figure out why the hell her computer kept on freezing up? No.
She intensified the kiss, almost to rub it into the nerd's face. Yeah, she told him. Backing off for a few moments, she smiled at Remy. She hadn't realized it, but she had somehow managed to situate herself on his lap. Face going thoughtful, she reached for a pen that was sitting on his desk and clicked it open, flipping the top sheet of the pad of paper that he'd been writing on so that she had a clean sheet to use. Clearing her throat and fully aware of the potential awkwardness of her position, she asked as professionally as she could, "So, are there any specific things about the school's curriculum that you feel should be brought to the attention of the government?"
After a few seconds, she narrowed her eyes and dropped the pen and paper back onto the desk. "Screw it."

Remy had to admit that he was taken back a bit when Rouge kicked his chair to turn him toward her more but he took it in stride. He sort of expected the interview to take place with a desk between the two of them, but this way was just a good. Ultimately it would save time.
It turned out they were going to save a lot of time, because just as he thought she was about to ask the first question, Rogue leaned in closed and began kissing him. Sometimes it scared Remy, how good he was. Honestly though, she did take him by surprise. The look on her face was thoughtful, not so much sexual. Instinct kicked in quickly though and Remy reciprocated.
The kiss was moderately long and very hot. Remy’s hands wondered from the arm rests to her hips to gently guide Rouge down into his lap. This must have rattled her though because she pulled back. She didn’t jump off. In fact, she smiled and proceeded to grab a pen and pad to write with. "So, are there any specific things about the school's curriculum that you feel should be brought to the attention of the government?" For own of only four times in his life, Remy was speechless. She was changing gears faster than he changed women. Remy blinked in her direction for a moment before saying, “We really need ta work on yer dirty talk. Cause dis ain’t exactly settin da...”
Rouge cut him off when she threw away the pen and just said ”Screw it.” That was all the ‘go ahead’ Gambit needed. Pulling her close again, Remy pressed his lips to hers and began running his hands up her sides and back down to her legs.

She did her best to keep her face from contorting into a large grin as he blinked blankly at her question. “We really need ta work on yer dirty talk. Cause dis ain’t exactly settin da...” Smartass. Tossing the pen and paper aside with a decided, "Screw it," she let him pull her closer, once again locking lips with him. Generally speaking, that alone was almost enough to send her over the edge. She'd spent a great deal of her life unable to do so much as high-five someone without worrying about knocking them out, and the mere fact that she was now able to do much, much more was incredibly stimulating in itself.
But she was still greedy, and that alone wasn't quite enough anymore. She reached down and pulled off her shirt, leaning back just long enough to yank it over her head and toss it on the ground. As his hands ran up and down her body, she reached forward for his shirt. There needed to be much more skin and it needed to happen as soon as possible.
She shivered a bit as his hands traced over her sides, closing her eyes. It tickled. And that was a good thing. Finally working his shirt free of his belt, she pulled it up over his head, dropping it to the ground and moving in again to kiss him some more, her hands tracing up and down his chest. He was fairly muscular, but not really excessively so. She smiled as she leaned back again, repositioning herself with a shrug. "Leg fell asleep."
But there were more important things than discussion, and she soon resettled herself on his lap, still kissing him and running her hands across his chest and back.

Rogue gladly accepted Remy’s embrace for the second time and was even getting very stingy. Remy liked that. He always enjoyed it more when the woman was aggressive. Passive girls had their place but that’s just what they were, girls. On the other hand, women knew what they wanted and didn‘t hesitate to take it. That was the best aphrodisiac in the universe.
Remy didn’t argue as she pulled away just long enough to remove her shirt and then again for his. He was occupied elsewhere, namely moving slowly down her neck and chest with his mouth. Nimble fingers quickly opened her belt and undid her pants likie only an experienced thief could. He wasn’t necessarily looking to get them off so quickly. There was time for that later. Gambit just wanted some room to get a hand or two in there.
Cupping each cheek of Rogue’s buttocks under her pants, he pulled her even closer to him. Letting his lips continue to work, Remy gave his hands virtual free roam over her body.
Rogue didn’t show any signs of discomfort until leaning back in his arms and repositioning herself again. “Leg fell asleep,” she commented before leaning back into Remy, who was now using his hands to relieve her of her bra. Kissing her chest, he casually said, “Can’t have dat, now can we?” With no other warning, Remy picked Rogue up under her legs and laid the woman down on his desk. There wasn’t really enough stuff on there to get in the way, save maybe for the computer. So he didn’t bother dashingly clearing the desk. That was too cheesy anyway.
Instead, Remy focused on the task at hand. Now it was time for the pants to come off. He peeled away her military issue trousers while still maintaining flesh to flesh contact, slowly moving down in between her legs.
