Setting her bag down on the counter, she rang the little bell and waited patiently. As the desk clerk finally stepped forward, she smiled. "I have a reservation, under Raven Darkholme. There should be two adjoined rooms, near the room being occupied by Erik Lensherr."
She waited as the clerk checked the information and smiled, handing her two envelopes. "Here are your keys, enjoy your stay."
She turned to Ear and handed him one of the envelopes. "Your room."

Ear had followed grumpily trying not to look conspicuos and remembered. It was hard but most of the people didn't even look at him, those who did didn't pay attention. He took the key and didn't say anything. The buzzed hair and scar on his face didn't help appearances and the clerk gave him a curious look before looking the other way.

Ignoring the semi-exchange between Ear and the desk clerk, she started towards the elevators, talking to Adam. "Before you get settled in, I want you to meet him. The you are free to explore the hotel, but know that we will be able to tell if you step one foot out of this building."
The elevator stopped and she stepped out into the hallway, reading the information that had been given to her by the desk clerk.

< Your partner is assisting a man into the shower, Black Tom. Perhaps you may have to keep her on a shorter leesh, > Exodus told Black Tom telepathically. He knew Black Tom wouldn't be too happy about it.

Tom was having a great time. His blonde woman was responding perfectly and these idiots kept trying to play him. Oh, this was the perfect way to relieve all the stresses of the past few days.
He was just finishing a game and took a seat at the bar by the blonde, whose name was Alexis, not that he particularly cared. He knew she was his already, the look on her face told him so. But like always, he wanted to seal the deal with style, so he challanged her to a game. Everyone in the room watched with either amusement or annoyance as the two flirted their way threw the game. In the end, Tom allowed her to win. Feigning disappointment, he offered to take her to his room to get the money, which she happily accepted.
As they walked throught the lobby, Tom received a telepathic message from Exodus. As his anger burst, he had to restrain himself from breaking Alexis's arm, which was in interlocked with his. Hoping Exodus was still listening, Tom replied <Where?> His hatred for Exodus aside for the moment, Tom managed to convey his feelings of 'Someone's gonna die' all in one word.
Normally a very calm man, Tom was almost shaking with anger now. Alexis, his conquest for the night, was visably questioning her decision. Calming himself down just long enough to speak, he handed her his key and said "I have some business to tend to. Go to my room and have a drink. I'll be up shortly." She took his key and he walked away. Now he needed only for Exodus to reply. He would kill whoever violated Theresa and be back to his room in a matter of minutes. Whoever he was, he couldn't be a match for Black Tom Cassidy.

Thankfully, Exodus gave Tom what he wanted. Were he thinking clearly, Tom would have asked himself why Exodus was so quick to give him what he wanted. They certainly weren't friends, and there wasn't much reason for him to even care what Theresa was doing. Tom's thought were mostly just centered around killing that nameless, faceless man. As the elevator stopped on the third floor Tom began to search for room 305.

Theresa stared openly as Alex unleashed his plasma blast. It was certainly an awesome and destructive power but considering she had seen what he had done to the brick wall the night before, she wasn't entirely surprised. Besides, considering what her and Tom could do, she was used to powers that made loud noises.
He looked so relieved once he was done, like a huge pressure had been lifted off him. Smiling as he took her hand, she walked with him back inside. The restaurant was off the side of the bar and Theresa couldn't help but grin at the memory of their meeting. It was like something out of a movie. Things like this didn't happen in real life yet here she was, on her way to breakfast with someone she had just met the night before, getting ready to meet his family.
As the hostess led them to a table for four, Theresa could smell the food and she realized just how hungry she was. She hadn't eaten a bite of the waffles she had ordered earlier and now she was starving. As they sat down, she ordered an orange juice to drink and looked around. The place was fancy, there was no denying that. She had to wonder why Magneto had chosen such a place for them to stay at but she pushed those thoughts aside. She didn't have to work with him any longer, according to Tom.
Looking over at the handsome blonde haired man sitting next to her, she said, "I really hope I don't mess up this reunion between you and yuir brother, Alex. If ya want to spend time alone with him, please just tell me. I'll be waiting for ya, I'm not going anywhere."

"I really hope I don't mess up this reunion between you and yuir brother, Alex. If ya want to spend time alone with him, please just tell me. I'll be waiting for ya, I'm not going anywhere," Theresa said looking over at Alex while they sat a table in the restaurant. Alex knew she was nervous but she was being too hard on the situation. With her hand still in his he brought her hand up to his lips and kissed her soft skin gently.
"I want you here," Alex said honestly. "but I am happy to hear that your not going anywhere," Alex exposed a wide grin, one that he couldn't help. She was such a sweet woman, Alex wondered if she was on purpose or if she was just naturally like that. This wasn't the first time Theresa had said she was staying with him and Alex loved hearing it everytime but things needed to be made clear as their relationship was still new. They haven't even known each other more than a day. Alex's face turned very serious. "Where does our relationship stand after this day is over?" Alex asked after looking around to see if his brother and his wife had arrived yet. "Are you coming with me when I leave?"

"I want you here but I am happy to hear that your not going anywhere," Alex replied to her with a grin. She smiled back, half relieved to hear it but half still dreading the upcoming breakfast. She idly wondered where Alex's brother and sister-in-law were.
His next question felt like a bomb had been dropped on her. "Where does our relationship stand after this day is over? Are you coming with me when I leave?"
Theresa was confused. Very confused. He had spent the whole evening yesterday trying to get her to stay with him and because of her obligations, she had to decline, even go so far as to tell him that she would be leaving for good. Then the incident with Tom happened and he let her go, told her that she didn't belong with them anyway and she thought Alex had been happy about that. Was he second guessing her now? She had given him what she had never given anyone because she knew he was special. Theresa had felt it from the moment he said hello.
Then again, they had only known each other a short time. Was that all he wanted from her? If it was.... oh, god, had she made a mistake after all? Had Tom been right? She could always go back to Ireland, Alex was the only reason she would stay in the States. Theresa couldn't control the blush that crept up on her face at the thought that Alex was looking for a reason to ditch her as she replied, "I... I thought I was but if ya don't want me to, I will go back to Ireland. I don't want ta be a burden on ya, Alex. I'm sorry if I assumed something that wasn't there."
By this point, her face was red with embarrassment and Theresa wished the floor would just open up and swallow her. How could she have assumed something like this? He was probably going to think she was the most naive person on the planet after this.

"I... I thought I was but if ya don't want me to, I will go back to Ireland. I don't want ta be a burden on ya, Alex. I'm sorry if I assumed something that wasn't there," Theresa replied. Alex's heart broke right then and there. He gave off the wrong impression, he only tried to ask where there relationship was heading not questioning their relationship.
"You misunderstood my questions," Alex said getting straight to the point. "I want nothing more than to have you come home with me. I was only asking if you wanted to or not," Alex admitted. Nothing would make him more happier than to have Theresa to wake up to every morning, to hold whenever he wanted and to talk to whenever she was around. Theresa was someone that he could definately be with for a very long time. She has been the most perfect woman to spend his time with. He couldn't ask for anything more.
"Your no burden on me. I've enjoyed your company more than you know and more than I can possibly explain. There is something there and I don't want it to end," Alex finally spoke his feelings, partially. There was no way he could explain exactly how he felt because he didn't exactly know. "I wanted to share this experience with you because I know your special and if my brother wants to get to know me, he'll have to get to know you, too," Alex tried to explain. He hoped she didn't take it the wrong way like his questions before. If there was a better way to explain, he wished he knew how to do it. Alex never let go of her hand. Instead he squeezed it gently to show her that he was being completely honest, the best way that he could.

"You misunderstood my questions. I want nothing more than to have you come home with me. I was only asking if you wanted to or not," Alex said to her and Theresa's heart began to beat again. She hadn't even realized it had stopped.
Giving him a large smile that she couldn't help, she replied, "Oh, Alex, I'm so glad ta hear ya say that."
"Your no burden on me. I've enjoyed your company more than you know and more than I can possibly explain. There is something there and I don't want it to end. I wanted to share this experience with you because I know your special and if my brother wants to get to know me, he'll have to get to know you, too," he continued.
Theresa was still grinning. He wanted her with him. He wanted her to meet her brother because she was going to be a part of his life. Theresa felt like standing up and shouting, she was so happy. Instead, she reached over and wrapped her arms around his neck. She really didn't care who saw her hug him, she couldn't help herself. Whispering in his ear, she said, "Thank ya, Alex. I promise, ya will be happy with me."

"Thank ya, Alex. I promise, ya will be happy with me," Theresa whispered in his ear as she hugged him. Alex was glad she didn't take it the wrong way and he would have to explain his feelings any more than he had to. It was difficult to say what he had already.
"I already am," Alex whispered back to her. It was true. He loved spending time with her. Everything about her was perfect. He couldn't think of one flaw. Pulling away slightly, he brushed her hair away from her face. She was beautiful. There was no doubt about that. It was funny how easily he fell for her. There was very little that he wouldn't do for her. "You have been the greatest thing to happen to me in my life," Alex started to admit. This was not the right place for this but it was the right time. "We haven't known each other for a long time, Theresa, but I want to know everything about you. If that takes years then I'll spend years to to learn who you are," Alex couldn't stop himself but he really had to. He didn't want to scare her away with admitting that he has completely fallen for her. He was in love but he didn't want to say it. He didn't want to push this relationship quicker than he it already has gone plus he had no idea if she felt the same way.

"I already am," Alex whispered back to her.
As he tucked her hair back behind her ear, Alex continued, You have been the greatest thing to happen to me in my life. We haven't known each other for a long time, Theresa, but I want to know everything about you. If that takes years then I'll spend years to to learn who you are."
Alex's gaze was so intense and she knew that what he was saying wasn't easy for him. She smiled at him, trying to encourage whatever it was he needed to say. His words warmed her heart and she replied with, "Ask me anything. My life has been pretty much spent in Ireland at the Keep. Tom would come home when he wasn't working. Other then my sonic scream, I don't have any secrets."
She had a million questions about his life, though. Deciding that now was as good a time as any, she asked, "Where are we going when we leave here, Alex? Where do ya call home? Ya mentioned going back ta college, is that something I can do too?"
It was just a start but she wanted to know these things. The idea of going to school, to a real school without private tutors intrigued her. Then again, just about everything was intriguing at the moment.
