(because there isn't one yet.. I'll have to start a thread for the Kitchen)
Sabastian walked through the door to the kitchen, "This. "He said, motioning around him, "Is our fabulous kitchen, wonderful non?" He grinned at her. It was a little joke with him, their kitchen was nothing to boast, just the regular, but Sabastian liked doing things like that. "Anyway, you can find anything in here, cereal, soda, sandwhich meat, old moldy cheese... just about anything."

Alison smiled at Sabastian."Is it that important?"she asked sarcastically."So...do you have a girl friend?"she asked grabbing a coke from the fridge. She then realized it was a stupid question and it made her seem desperate.

"Well to a growing boy like me it is! Food is of the essence." he grinned and sat up on one fo the counters. "Yeah... I do." He looked out one of the darkened windows, and smiled, " She's special. She's the one who got me in here. She didn't hate me for being a mutant when she found out, that's why she's so special. Her names Sarah. I only get to see her on breaks though." He looked back at Dazzler and gave a sheepish grin, "Sorry bout that, didn't mean to say anything mushy. What about you?"
(sabastian is oblivous to somethings, can you tell?)

Alison listened to what he said then frowned. When he turned around she smiled."Oh no it's ok"she lied quickly. She then thought about his other question."Oh...um no I don't"Alison admitted taking a sip of her coke after opening it.

Rand entered the kitchen. It was nothing special, just a regular kitchen. He found Sabastian and Alison already there. He walked over to the fridge and as he opened the door he said "Hey guys, whats up"

Sabastian grinned at Rand as he came in, " Oh, nothing much, just a late snack and a quiet talk." He winked at Alison, "I dunno if you formally met, but this is one of those dunces I was talking about earlier. His name is Rand... Rand this is the sweet and stunningly beautiful Alison, you agree non?"

"Dunce, eh?" Rand said. "Hello Alison, I'm Rand, but of course you already know that. Just came in here to get a lil snack." He pulled out the bread, and some Peanut butter and jelly. He wipped up a sandwich. He decided to leave them be.
"See ya later guys" he said with a wave. He walked out and back to his dorm.

Staggering in, yawning broadly, Rusty blinked blearily at the kitchen for a moment, before heading directly for coffee. Thankfully, someone had started a pot earlier and he poured the glorious liquid into a mug, drinking it down in seconds. Starting to feel slightly human, he fixed himself breakfast, some generic kind of cereal and a second cup of coffee.
Sitting down at the table, he began to shovel cereal into his mouth, alone so he didnt bother with petty things like table manners. Pausing only to gulp his coffee, Rusty finished his bowl in a personal record time and his second cup of coffee. Climbing to his feet able to see where he was going, he stuck his head in the refrigerator, searching around for some kind of bread.
After all, variety was the spice of life.

The kitchen was mostly deserted as Jono entered. Somebody was poking around in the icebox. He didn't recognize the kid, at least from his backside anyway. He should probably get back into his mute act again. Rolling his eyes, he kept a mental sigh to himself and rapped loudly on the counter next to him to get the kid's attention.
Glancing around, he spotted the note pad and pen that sat next to the phone. Grabbing these, he quickly, scribbled on the paper. Hello, I'm Jono. Know when we leave?, he wrote in as large of lettering as the paper allowed, then turned it around and held it facing the other bloke in the room.
God he hated doing this. But if this was one of the baseline students, he didn't want to use his powers in front of the poor chap and expose the school, or scare him witless. So for now, he'd keep up the act.

"Why do we have no bread?" Rusty was muttering to himself as he rummaged around in the fridge, "I swear we had a whole loaf at least yesterday."
Suddenly a sharp sound behind him made him jump out of the fridge, shivering just a little in his half dressed state. "Oh, hey." He said, spotting the guy who was probably the source of the sound. Weird outfit. There was no accounting for some tastes. He looked a little familiar but Rusty couldn't place where from.
The guy was scribbling something on a piece of paper, and Rusty realised where he knew him from. As the guy held up a piece of paper reading Hello, I'm Jono. Know when we leave?, Rusty blinked. "Leave?" He said, puzzled. "No, I've got no idea. Ms Frost usually..lets us know and we all scramble to get dressed and ready for wherever we're going." Shrugging his shoulders, he continued "It's not the best system but it works.
Spotting the bread on the other side counter he muttered "A-ha!" Triumphantly to himself, stretching over to snag the packet. Tearing into the bread dry, his favourite breakfast, Rusty turned back to Jono. Setting down his coffee, he said "I'm Rusty."

Jono nodded and laid down the pad of paper. He watched Rusty tear into the dry bread, a bit envious. He was not joking when he'd told Emma Frost the last good meal he'd had was four years ago. It hadn't even been that good. Beer and junk food at the party had been the last thing he'd ever eaten. He shook his head.
Well, he was already packed and didn't eat but he decided to stay in the kitchen and hang out until the White Queen came to gather them up for the trip. There was a small televsion mounted under one counter. That was something to do. Locating the remote, he flipped on the tele and began to surf idly through the channels. A news report caught his attention, as he listened and watched in shock.
“In other news, Congress will reconvene for further discussion of the controversial Mutant Registration Act. This act would require all mutants to register themselves with government, listing their current address, occupation and powers they possess. Crowds of supporters and protesters have formed outside the building for a week now, loudly proclaiming their feelings on the matter.”
Chamber watched as the camera panned across a crowd of people chanting something he couldn't quite make out, waving signs that said Keep mutants out of our schools. and showed pictures of mutants attacking students. He clenched the remote tightly in his hand. <Bloody hell,> he 'exclaimed', forgetting his facade in his anger. <What's this bollicks?>
Making mutants register? He didn't support hiding the fact they were mutants, but he was also well aware the prejudice shown against them. And making everything about them public knowledge? That was dangerous. Not every mutant had powers that could destroy buildings or even defend themselves with. He just stared at the screen, shaking his head.

Munching on his bread, Rusty wasn't really paying attention as Jono flipped on the tv.
Rusty choked on his coffe.
This was not good. Not good at all. As far as he knew, his shipmates were still after him and he didn't want this place to be torn to pieces by mobs.
Apparently Jono felt the same way. An english accented telepathic voice rang in his head <Bloody hell,> and Rusty dropped his mug. <What's this bollicks?>
"You can talk!" Rusty exclaimed surprised. Then, blushing he continued "I mean...oh you know what I mean." Waving the conversational mishap away "It is telepathy right?" he asked.
Suddenly everything clicked into place. "I know who you are now!" Rusty said, surprised. "Your that ditzy pop star's boyfriend, whatshername. Cotton Candy. Sugar Mommy. Sugar Cane. Thats it, Sugar Cane!" Then, blinking, he asked "What in the name of all buggery are you doing here?"

"You can talk!" Jono realized he'd thought out loud when Rusty looked at him in surprise. He continued, stammering "I mean...oh you know what I mean. It is telepathy right?"
Chamber rolled his eyes. <No mate, its your bleedin' imagination,> he retorted sharply.
Rusty's next words didn't help Jono's mood any. "I know who you are now!" he proclaimed. "Your that ditzy pop star's boyfriend, whatshername. Cotton Candy. Sugar Mommy. Sugar Cane. Thats it, Sugar Cane!" Then his face showed confusion. "What in the name of all buggery are you doing here?"
Jono cupped his face and nodded. Oh wonderful, he was still recognized. <Ex-boyfriend,> he corrected. Like he needed to be reminded of that. Being used and then dumped like last week's rubbish was something he wanted to be reminded of on a daily basis. Chamber shook his head and changed the subject.
Sighing mentally, he looked at the kid. <I was a student here,> he explained. <I came back to train my powers more.> He nodded towards the tele. <What's this tripe all about? How long has this 'bill' been around? Does Old Mu-, I mean, Ms. Frost know about this?> Kind of a stupid question. Of course she would. And she would be angry and concerned about it as well. He wondered to himself whether the trip to New York City had anything to do with this bill. He would ask the White Queen when she came to collect them for the trip. He knew it wasn't just a holiday trip. Emma Frost did everything for a reason.

<Ex-boyfriend,> he corrected.
Right. Telepathy was oh so much better at expressing feelings than tone of voice. Rusty picked up the vibes and made a mental note to definitely avoid that topic in future.
Sighing mentally, he looked at the kid. <I was a student here,> he explained. <I came back to train my powers more.>
"That explains a little," Rusty said, still a little surprised to encounter a celebrity's hanger-on in the kitchen.
Jono nodded towards the tele. <What's this tripe all about? How long has this 'bill' been around? Does Old Mu-, I mean, Ms. Frost know about this?>
"I thought you said you were a student here." Rusty said questioningly. "How does she know anything thats going on around the place? She's nosy." Glancing back to the tv, now playing clips of the act's protestors and supporters clashing, he said quietly, half to himself "Not that I really blame her. You don't want to be taken by surprise by something like this."
