Alex stepped up to the front desk asked the woman behind the counter for a room. The costly room was on the third floor and the elevators were full. Alex had to lug his luggage up the steps, but he didn't mind. Manual labor was never a big deal to him.
When he finally reached his room, number 305, Alex used the magnetic key card to get in. The room was spacious for a single occupant. It seemed clean enough for him to deal with. Alex put his luggage on the single bed in the center of the room. He picked out a few things from the bag and placed them on the bed.
After a quick shower to freshen up after a long plane ride, Alex put his clothes back on over the containment suit. The suit was basically concealed completely by the clothing. Now it was time to find something to do before the convention started that night. Alex left his room and made sure the door was securely closed behind him before walking casually down the hall.

Alex walked through the hallway of the third floor of the building. Finding room 305, he opened the door and fell onto the single bed. He wasn't exhausted but he still rubbed his eyes like he was. He had missed the lecture but meeting his older brother finally was so much better than sitting and listening. He had dreamed of this day for years and it finally happened.
Slapping himself in the forehead, Alex realized he never got Scott and Jean's room number. He didn't want to let this chance go by. There was no way they were getting away from him this time. Not when he could stop it. Alex called down to the front desk and asked for Scott Summers. The answer he got was not a good one. He wasn't registered to have a room there, nor was Jean Summers. He slammed the phone down, angry at himself for letting this opportunity pass by. Now everything rode on Scott's shoulders. If he was interested in knowing his brother then he will stop by before he left. Otherwise, Alex may never get this chance again.
The television turned on to CNN's coverage of the Mutant Registration Act that might get passed the next day. Alex just sat on his bed, watching the coverage and waited for his brother who may or may not come.

Alex was getting frustrated. It was getting late and there was still no sign of his long lost brother. He was losing patience and faith in him. In frustration, Alex decided to get up and do something. Sleep just wasn't an option right now, there was just too much on his mind. Scott, his older brother was such a surprise to see. Alex had no idea to handle it. He had prepared for that moment for so long and he was almost frozen and stuck for what to say to him. The sudden surprise of seeing him and his wife was just so unexpected. He needed to get his mind off of it. There was no reason to set himself up for a disappointment when Scott won't show up.
Picking himself up, Alex got his things together including the key card to the room and his wallet. He locked the door behind him as he wandered back down to the main lobby.

Alex felt like an idiot asking such a dumb question. He got an honest answer, one that he didn't think of. If casual sex wasn't on his mind at that moment, he would've been thinking more clearly. Trying to clear his head, Alex led Terry to his room.
"I'll only be a second," Alex informed her as he closed the door behind them. He loked himself in the bathroom and undressed himself as quickly and quietly as he could. The containment suit was next. He knew that it would get in his way, plus if Terry did get cold, his radiated heat would be stronger now. Placing the containment suit on the rack of towels, Alex replaced his clothes back on his body then exited the bathroom. Opening the closet, he found his jacket and slipped into it.
"Ready?" He asked Terry. He wasn't out of breath in the slightest, being used to working out plenty. Rushing around wasn't normal for him but he was used to working much harder than he did. "I figure we could walk since driving puts us in too much traffic with all the protesters and everything," Alex explained. He would've like to drive but it would be harder. Picking up a listing that was placed on the dresser by the hotel staff, Alex flipped through to find anything that was close and interesting. "Hey, a few blocks from here, they're doing a tree lighting. Want to go up that way?"

Theresa laid her cloak on his bed when they walked in and watched him disappear into the bathroom. It was a bit confusing since he didn't have to pull his hair back but she just shrugged it off. Walking to the window, she opened the curtains slightly and looked outside. His room faced the main road and she watched as cars came and went like they would never end. She really had never seen so many people in one place before and it was all utterly fascinating.
Turning back from the window when she heard Alex get his coat, she nodded when he asked, "Ready?" Theresa picked her cloak up, not wanting to put it on until they got to the lobby doors and watched as he looked over a piece of paper.
"Hey, a few blocks from here, they're doing a tree lighting. Want to go up that way?" Alex then asked her.
Theresa was slightly confused before remembering the Christmas tree was a tradition here. Giving him a big smile, she replied, "That would be wonderful! I would love ta learn as much as I can about yuir traditions before Tom sends me back ta Ireland." Her blue eyes sparkling with excitement, she grabbed his hand again and said, "Let's be on our way."

Alex didn't know they didn't have Christmas in Ireland but he thought it was great that he was exposing her to it. It was such a great time of the year. The weather might be terrible but the overall feeling from everyone was the best. Everyone was generous on Christmas day. The shopping part was hell but it was all worth it when it comes down to that special morning and everyone gave their thoughtful presents to each other.
Alex still wondered about her cousin though. he doesn't seem like a very nice guy and he sounds like he mistreats Terry. And Terry seemed like such a sweet and innocent girl. Very innocent. No wonder she had no idea what it meant when she asked him to her room. What, was this chick locked in a castle her whole life? Alex wondered to himself. It would definately explain so much.
"That's what I had in mind," Alex said smiling at her. They exited his room, making sure the door was firmly in place. With her hand in his, they walked to the elevator and eventually out to the street.

The lobby of the hotel was still pretty packed with either mutants or anti mutant activists. Walking past the them, Alex went straight to the elevators. While they waited for the elevator to come, he watched Terry waiting for it. Her beauty never left her. It was amazing. The more he looked at her, the more perfect she became. Even inside the warm building, Alex couldn't keep his hands off of her. His arm remained around her and rested on her waist.
The elevator finally came and Alex had to decide which room they should go to. He pressed the third floor, Alex's room. He thought that they would have the most privacy and plus, from what he remembered of her bed, there was a lot of items there and he didn't want to have them in their way. When the elevator finally came to a stop, Alex led Terry to the door to his room. The key let them into the dark room. The darkness was peirced with the light as Alex flipped the switch. The room was now illuminated. Once Terry was inside, Alex closed the door behind her.
"I want to ask you something," Alex said as he took his jacket off and hung it up in the closet. He held his hand out to take her cloak so it could be hung up as well. "Do you have to leave tomorrow?" Alex asked finally. He was hoping that she could stay longer with him. He knew that she couldn't but he had to try at least. With everything he's got, he was going to try to persuade her to stay longer with him.

Alex held her close all the way back to the hotel and Theresa was happier then she had ever been in her life. For a moment after they entered the lobby, she was afraid of running into Tom but they didn't. He was most likely asleep in his room and she hoped he didn't come looking for her. Not that he could say anything to stop her. She was eighteen, after all, and quite old enough to make her own decisions.
Stubborn determination was a big part of her personality and she was determined nothing was going to interrupt her tonight. They only had tonight and Theresa wanted to remember it forever. Alex pushed the button for the third floor and she was relieved he didn't expect to go to her room. There was only so much luck was willing to push with Tom.
Alex didn't let her go until they were securely in his room and he took off his coat. After hanging it up, he reached for her cloak and she handed it to him, idly impressed with the fact that he seemed to keep his things neat and tidy. Theresa was a bit unsure of what to do next and almost let out a sigh of relief when he asked, "Do you have to leave tomorrow?"
It wasn't that she wanted to have to answer that question but at least she knew how to have a conversation. Closing the distance between them, she reached up with her forefinger and pressed it to his lips. Then she replied, "Let's not talk about tomorrow, okay? I can't answer anything about that." Then, before he could reply back, she moved her finger and reached both hands to his face. With a hand on each side of his head, she whispered, "Teach me how ta love," and pulled him down to kiss.

Terry stopped the conversation quickly with her finger pressed against his lips. Alex wasn't hurt by the action. He wanted to have her with him but there wasn't anything he could do. She had priorities and he respected that. Terry was going to do what she had to and it made Alex respect her that much more. She kept to her word, a trait that not many people have.
"Let's not talk about tomorrow, okay? I can't answer anything about that. "Teach me how ta love," Terry said. Alex was taken by surprise but he didn't resist her. He couldn't. The look on her face made Alex like a little puppy. He was willing to give her anything she asked for, do anything she asked him to do, and give himself completely to her and her happiness. That's all he wanted from her, a smile on her beautiful face and his arms around her always.
As he was pulled down to her he let his lips touch hers, softly. Her warm hands placed around his face were comforting. Alex's hands reached around her and pulled her close, deepening the kiss. No one was there to stop them and they weren't going to stop themselves. They were together and they were going to enjoy every second of it. Alex lifted her, with his arm under her two legs and his other arm around her back. He didn't want to break off the kiss but as soon as she was gently placed on the bed, he immediately resumed the act of feeding her lips with his own. Resisting her was impossible. The attraction was there, both mentally and physically to Terry.
Alex moved slowly, keeping every touch soft and gentle. He didn't want to overwhelm her, yet. She wasn't ready, the preparation weren't there. This was his only resistance to her. This might be their only chance together and Alex wasn't going to not take the chance to please her physically before they get to the physical act of love. He wanted to cherish and map her entire body, personally, before he permantly bonds his lips to hers.
An hour later, with foreplay an hour and a half later, Alex laid comfortable and relaxed inside the comforter with Terry beside him. The image of her still in his arms below her and then on top of him still fresh in his eyes. If it were physically possible, he would do it again and again and again until it killed him from physical exhaustion. He would die a lucky and happy man pleasing her. If only they had longer than this one night. The thought, once again, pushed away. All he could do right now was hold her in his arms and cherish every second he had left with her.

As Theresa laid there, snuggled into his arms, she was absolutely content and quite pleased. She had no idea that being with someone this intimately could be so pleasurable. Alex had taken his time and there were moments she wanted him to hurry up but he knew what he was doing and because of that, it was relatively painless.
Completely beyond her initial shyness from when they had first started, she looked up at him and smiled. Her hair had come out of the braid at some point and he had one hand wrapped in it, holding her close. Theresa just stared at him, wanting to remember this moment forever.
Reaching up with her hand, she ran her fingers through his hair and simply said, "That was incredible." Reaching up and kissing him gently, she basked in not only his physical warmth due to his powers but the warmth of the blanket. Snuggling closer to him, if that were possible, she closed her eyes and before another thought passed through her mind, Terry was asleep.

"That was incredible," Terry said as she looked up at him. The look in her eyes was enough reason to roll over and please her all over again, starting from scratch. If it was possible for him to do so. Her kiss was soft that sent a warm sensation through out his body. He had grown to love that feeling. It was different at first, strange, but now knowing that that feeling wasn't going to go away, he invited it with open arms. He never wanted to lose it.
Terry was happy and comfortable in his arms. It was a pleasure that he had never known. With his arm around her, he gently stroked her bare back until she fell asleep. As much as Alex wanted to join her in slumber, he couldn't. The thought that he couldn't have her in his arms every morning when he woke up was bothering him. She was perfect in his eyes. He couldn't think of one flaw that she had. Her body and mind were just perfect. Alex was hurting himself thinking this way, he knew it but couldn't get it out of his head. Their short relationship was destined to fail. He held back the pain and just held Terry. The thought wouldn't go away.
He leaned down and kissed the top of her head, smelling the sweet fragrance her hair offered. The aroma would astick within his memory forever. Closing his eyes, he remembered their previous act of passion, keeping it well in his memory so when he finally fell asleep, his dreams would be filled with Terry.

Theresa woke up, disoriented for a moment. Alex's arms were still wrapped around her and she was snuggled against his chest, her head resting on it like a pillow. She moved her head and propped herself up on an elbow, just looking at him. What she wouldn't do to just turn her back on everything that she had promised her cousin and Magneto to just stay with him.
Theresa was a bit surprised at her thinking. She didn't think anyone would make her want to walk away from Tom. She loved him like a father and just took it for granted that it would always just be the two of them. Then she met Alex. Not able to resist, she reached out and gently stroked his hair, watching him sleep. She loved his light blonde hair, his bright blue eyes, the way he looked so peaceful sleeping there.
She glanced over at the clock on the nightstand and saw that it was early morning. There were still a few hours before she had to make it back to her room and prepare for whatever laid ahead of her. Theresa was determined not to leave Alex until she absolutely had to. She would even defy Tom and make it so he couldn't find her but she knew the resources Magneto had. She would be found and for some reason, she didn't want Alex to know what she was doing.
Moving closer to Alex, Theresa started to gently stroke his face and rain little kisses across his arm. She wasn't quite ready to be done with the night yet.

Alex woke up slightly to the strange sensation that had been happening all night. It originated at his arm. When he rolled his head to the side, he saw Terry still in his arms lightly kissing his biceps. He closed his eyes and just enjoyed the sensations she was giving him through her lips. The wonderful sensations flowing through him were intoxicating. He was addicted to it. With his free arm, he gently caressed her bare back, letting her know that he was awake. Alex didn't want her to stop but he wanted to look into her blue eyes again. Those...beautiful...blue...eyes that he gets lost in everytime he looks into them.
Terry's hands reached up and lightly stroked his cheek. It was all too much, he was drowning in the overwhelming feeling her touch gave him. It was so easy to give in to Terry. All he wanted was for her to be the happiest woman alive. Unfortunately, she wouldn't be in his arms forever but while she was, Alex was going to make her never forget him.
"Good morning," Alex said softly with a smile plastered across his face. He leaned down and gently kissed the top of her head, her hair still smelled great and it filled his nose. If only she would look up at him. He wanted more than anything for her to plant her lips on his. Who was he kidding? He loved her company, her touch, conversation, and everything about her. Alex reached to the side of her head, stroking her cheek with his thumb. Her soft skin was warm and just felt right in his hands. Leaning towards her, Alex pressed his lips to hers, pouring more and more of his feelings towards her into the kiss.

Theresa knew Alex was awake when he started to stroke her back. She paused slightly in her kisses to savor the feel of his hands on her. Then she looked up at him just as he came down to claim her mouth again. Oh, god, she wanted this and she wanted it more then just tonight. Tearing her thoughts away so she didn't start thinking about when she would have to say goodbye, Theresa wrapped her arms around him as tightly as she could and pulled him as close to her as humanly possible.
Much later, wrapped tightly in his arms, she sighed. Why did something that felt so right, so natural have to come to an end. Then again, there was no way she could have predicted this would happen yesterday morning. For the first time in her life, Theresa was torn between what she wanted and her obligations.
Looking up at Alex, she couldn't resist another kiss then she said, "Do you think room service is open right now? For some reason, I'm starving." Granted, it didn't help that she had lost her temper at the restaurant earlier and they left without dinner. Then again, at the time, food was the last thing on her mind. Even then, Theresa knew that she didn't want to let Alex go.
As she thought about having to leave in a couple of hours, a tear escaped her eye and she snuggled her face into his chest so he wouldn't see it. This was going to be hard enough but she knew it was what she had to do. Perhaps once she got back to Ireland, she could forget everything that had happened. Yeah, right, and perhaps the village would have flying pigs by that point.
